Relaxing stay
A lovely hotel, on the whole, and well located. The room I finally had was large and comfortable though the TV didn't work at first and the safe was temperamental. I say 'finally' because the heated towel rail in the first room wasn't working. I was told that 'maintenance' would check it the next morning but it was January and it would be cold in the morning. I was also less than impressed by the stains on the carpet. It was I who asked to be moved - it was not offered - and I was not offered help in moving. The second room, the same 'standard' as the first, was much nicer, especially the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. I wonder why I was not allocated that room in the first place, especially as it was next to the room given to the friend I was travelling with. The staff and service in the restaurant were extremely good but the menu was rather disappointing and the cheese board overpriced. Breakfast was excellent apart from the fact that the tea was made with teabags not loose leaf tea - a small point, but it's the little things that make a hotel stand out. The treatment I had at the spa was also excellent and I rated the spa itself highly.
I just wish that a thorough check is made that everything in the guest rooms worked before guests check in.
I'll say 'No' about staying there again mainly because I prefer to try new places.
Great but restaurant needs improving
Generally ok ,however menu limited and not great value. The rooms were wonderful and surroundings and spa fantastic.
The hotel is let down by the restaurant which is a great shame.
Fabulous stay
We have had a difficult year and decided we wanted to be pampered and looked after the greenway hotel and spa did not disappoint. The only thing was the working out the bill at the end of the stay, maybe a more joined up system may make things more organised.

Half term break
My partner and I were treated to a 2 night stay as a gift. This was definitely the best spa hotel we have visited. Lovely intimate spa, very welcoming staff, very good food at dinner and amazing breakfast.
The hotel was very peaceful and the master room was beautifully appointed. We will come back for sure. Thanks to all the staff for a fantastic stay.
Mid week break
Great stay. Exactly what we needed, superb service from lovely staff. Location is ideal for visits to Sudeley Castle and Cheltenham.
A relaxing break
A wonderful night at the hotel, room was spacious and quiet with an extremely comfy bed. The food in the evening was delicious and beautifully presented. Would definitely return and recommend. A peaceful haven in a gorgeous location.
R&R break
Overall we had a relaxing stay in beautiful grounds, we were blessed with the weather. The room (25) was huge and we had a very comfortable bed. It was also very quiet at night so felt very fortunate there. The restaurant itself is lovely and it was busy so had a nice atmosphere. I found the menu limiting and they could not offer alternatives to the vegetables included in the dishes. ( For medical reasons I have to avoid certain green vegetables)
The spa and the treatments were amazing both my wife and I came away feeling worlds better.
The only down side was that I was charged incorrectly for dinner, and picked up someone else s charge apparently. As we were in a hurry I did not question at checkout but afterwards by phone. They did refund it but we received no apology, also we did not receive the glass of Prosecco on arrival which was part of our package. Unfortunately those two points did have an impact and for the price we paid I am not sure we will be going back again.
