Fabulous getaway
Our 2nd visit, will be going back again, so that says it all. Didn t disappoint on our 2nd visit. Luxurious room. Superb food and wine / drinks menu. Food exceptional. One very minor gripe is the additional service charges for example 9 on a 30 bottle of wine. Service charges and tips should be given out of thanks and gratitude and not enforced / added to the bill, they should be discretionary. Other than that, this truly is a wonderful place to stay.

Great staff and excellent food and lovely room
Great weekend away
Really lovely hotel, close to Cheltenham and ideal for a weekend away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable, as were the lounge areas. The restaurant and food were great. The spa and pool area were a great bonus.
The only very minor negative was that it would be helpful to have more than 1 rooms key. We were a group of friends and on one day did different things so another key would have been helpful.

Lovely relaxing hotel - but the food let it down.
Not enough meat dishes and lots of cheese used in the courses- ok if you like very strong cheese! Too many a la carte
Dishes and not enough plainish food. Such a shame . Breakfast was fine though. We waited a long time for dinner on Thursday 17th Oct - booked in for 7.30 but didn't start eating until 8.45 - far too long. Again - this is why I wouldn't go back.

Two Night Break
My friend and I enjoyed our stay - but there were one or two things that could have been better.
When I arrived the Receptionist was dealing with someone else and took a while to acknowledge me.
Our room was booked in the name of MR Stuffins and we had a double bed, when I had asked for a twin bedded room.
The room was a bit small with the tea making facilities in the wardrobe.
We were not told when asked if we were entitled to a dinner on the 2nd night that there would be a 15 supplement for 3 courses. Also that a 10% charge would be added to the bills for the 2 nights.
Fantastic stay
From check-in, to the spa services, bar staff and superb meal this was a memorable stay. Beautiful bedroom with lovely country view and little extras throughout our stay that made this a unique hotel to stay at.
