Need to go extra mile to make up for Covid problems

A beautiful property with high end antique furniture and ornaments giving impression of country home. Restaurant staff all lovely.
Reception could have been more welcoming. No acknowledgement that we had to struggle upstairs with our bags. Presumably no help due to Covid but an acknowledgement would have been nice. Even with mask, one could tell member of staff was not smiling .
Room stunning but a couple of little things: paint around bath peeling and could not plug kettle in and have it on the sideboard at same time. An electrical extension/extra sockets would have been appreciated. No staff into rooms due to Covid.

My wife and I stayed for two nights. The hotel is billed as luxurious but sadly many fixtures and fittings need renovation or replacement. The restaurant provides very expensive food but only average quality. Prices for alcohol were high and be aware that service charges will be applied at the end of your stay. Charges for use of the pool and spa are also very high for some guests. Overall rating was that I would not recommend a stay here.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous food, great service

We had a fabulous stay! Booked via Cotswoldhotelbreaks.com on a dinner bed and breakfast package. It was superb. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are luxurious and very well appointed - we stayed in Sycamore. The hotel has a lounge and bar and outside seating areas which give a few options to enjoy a drink and give a feeling of privacy and intimacy.
The hydrotherapy pool and spa area are lovely, although we just went for a swim and didn t use the other facilities it was a lovely relaxing space.
The food was superb! Dinner was incredible! The dining room is a lovely space too.
Most of all the staff were incredible! Diligent and discreet but also relaxed and friendly which made a great atmosphere.
Would highly recommend.

We had 5 wonderful nights here and can t fault the hotel or spa. The meals were particularly impressive and will look forward to returning

One night stay

Bought a package deal for one night. Lovely building and grounds, room was really excellent, very comfortable, clean and classy decor etc, great bathroom. Spa excellent, really great facilities, pool and hot tub. Restaurant was good, a bit too quiet not much ambiance, I guess that s intentional the kind of place it is but not our style, food was good but menu disappointed. Overall had a great stay and worth it for the rooms and spa.

2 nights break at the Greenway hotel and Spa

Beautiful hotels' setting and grounds with dear spotted on the grass from the window, lovely and old fashion type of building with inglenook fire places and quite plash interiors. The restaurant served excellent dinners with very artistic dishes and the only downside was the rather small portions.
Excellent spa treatments with good service that are worth trying.
