2 Days in Farringdon

Lovely hotel. Our room was large overlooking the front of the property. Farringdon small town less than a mile away Easy reach of the many Coltswolds towns. Very few guests in the hotel during our stay so not much atmosphere but the staff were lovely

All staff were helpful but Evelyn was an absolute star taking good care of all aspects of our stay

No review title

Our stay at the Hotel was disappointing. From the initial impression of the premises and staff, there was nothing to suggest a 4-star hotel and there was no pool either. We would certainly not recommend the venue.

Weekend break

Very well furnished and comfortable bedroom. The restaurant is very sparsely furnished and lacking in character. It resembles more a canteen. The service was very good as was the food. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Not romantic

Book your reservation for the resteraunt we were advised, first night, which of the four tables in the bar would you like. Chose the one nearest to the heating. Room downgraded to twin , and refunded because twin suite requested, but only king available.
Overall I think offpeak/almost empty would sum it up.
Apologies to the staff who were without doubt the shining stars of the stay.

Lovely staff comfortable rooms

I stayed overnight with my husband. We had a lovely welcome from staff, the room we had was comfortable and clean. The room had a glass of prosecco and chocolates which was part of the package. We had food at the restaurant and the meal overall was enjoyable. My husband and I are vegetarian and we were happy with our choice. Breakfast was a mix of self service and you decided on what you wanted if you were interested in a cooked breakfast.

The hotel is in a quiet area and there are some shops a short walk away.

Okay hotel

Sudbury House is a strange hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. The bar doesn't do lunches. The rooms are a bit like motel rooms - no wardrobes, minimal drawers, no view. Restaurant food mixed, some very good. OPL deal excellent!
