Niggles
Many minor niggles:
1. Early unexpected Sunday Dinner as was visiting friends on way up.
2. Toenails by my bed.
3. Room not serviced adequately, eg bottom sheet never straightened and tucked in. Milk sachets omitted one day.
4. No eggs for breakfast on Monday morning. Remaining breakfast well overcooked.
5. Food improved markedly on last two days and last two dinners were excellent.
6. Papers were promised on registration then failed to materialise.
7. Manager was very helpful and kept apologising profusely.
8. Correction of these niggles would make it an excellent stay.
Very Disappointed
Stayed numerous times before prior 2019, at that time Wroxton House Hotel was a luxurious hotel with 5 star experience the food was excellent at the time, from what we had found out management had changed and so was the experience so much we had no charges made to our first night dinner because it was poor
Even though we had. 70:00 allowance towards the meal
We were shown to our table which had a glass top which was shattered (picture taken)
We cancelled the following night ate out and stayed in our room for the evening
If you review the website and photograph of the food and menus this is no way a true reflection
Hotel desperately needs a makeover
All discussed on departure amicably with reception
As a wedding anniversary celebration we were so disappointed
Happy to discuss further
3 Star-not luxury, but overall a decent experience.
Lacks the sophistication to be marketed as a luxury stay. Certainly adequate for a necessary stopping point

Disappointing
Just returned from Wroxton Hotel. Food was poor. Humus arrived without anything else. Quality is below average and we weren't the only guests complaining.
The whole Hotel is is need of a thorough good clean and updating. Staff are fine but seem to lack much training
It as good as we had hoped
We came here for our honeymoon
It was a bit disappointing. When we arrived our dinner reservation was pushed earlier as there was a wedding at the hotel. We felt all of the focus was on the wedding.
The wedding was noisy and we were woken at night by people attending.
The next day we went to have dinner to be told the restaurant had closed early. The staff member said they had tried to email us but I never received any message and we had been in our room at the hotel for the previous 3 hours. We were sold two desserts ( no ice cream on them as it was a Sunday?) for 25
Generally we felt a bit unwelcome and a bit ripped off. Would not go back.
