Great stay

Lovely night away, cute hotel and room with a luxurious bathroom and very nice grounds.
The restaurant was also great and the deal represented great value for money.

Great place for a short break or special occasion

We had a lovely time at Widbrook Grange. All the staff were excellent.
Cosy bar, great food. Comfortable room. Very convenient for canal walks, Bradford on Avon and Bath Spa.

In need of R&R!!

Very relaxing, room excellent apart from some parking noise..external painting in progress. Appreciated the garden next to the room, and the grounds were beautiful. Pool out of service. Food was location brilliant for exploration. Would recommend and hope to return.

What a lovely place to stay, our room was great.
The house, grounds and outside areas were well kept and tidy.
Food was delicious.
Staff were attentive and helpful.
Used it as base to explore the local attractions.
Unfortunately, we didn t have time to use the pool.
Would definitely go back.

Good stay despite the heat wave!

We had a good stay. The room was nice but the carpet in our bedroom was very dirty. We wanted fresh towels due to the heat and having extra showers to stay cool. Left them in the bath tub but they weren't changed during our 3 day stay and just hung back out.
The food was delicious but not really included in the price as we thought. Due to an average price of 14 a starter and 28 for a main, 35 does not cover it and we ended up spending a further 98 on food! The 12.5% optional gratuity doesn't seem fair if you are already paying to stay at the hotel. We felt too embarrassed to ask to take it off. We only had 2 courses so it makes it expensive.
The smell of sweaty feet as you entered the pool area put us off using it. It was the same no matter what time you went in so not sure how much cleaning was done in this area.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
We wouldn't stay again as it is very expensive for a tired looking hotel and not enough food allowance.

Break away from it all

This is a lovely location and provided a peaceful and relaxing break. Staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. Our stay was during the extremely hot weather, so we appreciated the swimming pool, but our room was hot despite the provision of a fan.

A welcoming atmospher and friendly staff

We were staying when the weather was extremely hot the most was done by the staff to make things comfortable the swiming pool was a god send.
Aircon and fans in the dinning room would have helped.
The carpet in the room we stayed in could do with cleaning there was a smell of dogs on entry but we still enjoyed our stay.
