Night away
Very welcoming & great food really enjoyed our night away
Lovely stay
Only comment (not a complaint) was dissapointed with the lack of Christmas decorations, the hotel had so much potential but lacked even a Christmas tree. Would have loved to have seen one in the dining area where one corner cried out for one, more fairy lights needed too. However, did not spoil our stay, lovely staff.
Mixed opinions
We arrived in the dark. Few outside lights and large puddles in carpark. Our room was not in the main building and we had to cross the dark carpark in the rain to get to the restaurant. No early breakfast and it appeared no staff on duty overnight. Staff we did come across were friendly and helpful.

Throughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were excellent, very attentive.
Welcoming break
Widbrook lies just outside the lovely town of Bradford on Avon and provides a very friendly and welcoming break for a couple of days with a fantastic collection of gins and good food.
Wacky!
We had two nights away with a Daily Telegraph offer so value for money was excellent. A most unusual hotel decor wise! A bicycle holding our wash basin, trumpet and a bugle for bedside lamps - well we were in the music room! Watering cans for hall lights! Quite an experience. The evening meals were included; they were tasty but presentation could have been better. A really nice and unusual hotel, charming staff and off the tourist route. Bradford on Avon is beautiful and us only two or three miles away. Do try The Bridge Tea Rooms!
A great weekend away deal
We had booked a deal through the Telegraph and thought it was a lovely weekend. Nice food and nice ambience. The room needed a few touches of paint, and a touch of plumbing but the bed was fantastic and cosy.
Relaxing break in beautiful surroundings
We enjoyed our second visit to Widbrook even more than the first a couple of months ago.
Highly recommended.
