Very comfortable country house hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, , particularly the friendly staff, tour room, the garden space and the pool. The restaurant was good but expensive.

Relaxing Venue

This venue is very relaxing. It is set in it's own charming grounds. The hotel room we stayed in had a dated/distressed appearance typical of an old farm. It did look dated. The room itself was comfortable and had everything you would expect,
The evening meal in the restaurant was very good, tasty, well seasoned and well presented.
However, the breakfast was not to the same standard. The choice was quite limited. the cooked breakfast included sausages that looked anaemic, they may just have needed some more time in the grill. Very unappetising.
The location on the outskirts of Bradford upon Avon is excellent and the old town is well worth a visit.

Comfortable stay in interesting hotel.

My husband and I enjoyed our short stay at Widbrook Grange, an unusual and characterful hotel. Our room was generously sized and well furnished and we appreciated its facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of quality foods available. Dinner was also enjoyable but seemed relatively expensive, especially desserts.

The hotel is sited near to the Kennet and Avon canal which is lovely for walking or in our case cycling along. All in all a good place to stay .

Lovely six night break.

We had stayed at Widbrook Grange before and enjoyed it so much!!
We love the country house feel of the place: rural yet within striking distance of so many places of interest!! The grounds are lovely, and the addition of a swimming pool was welcome!! The atmosphere is informal, the staff very pleasant and the food of an excellent standard!! Particularly commendable was the hotel accommodating my wife s special diet!! We also thought our stay was extremely good value for money. This visit was just as enjoyable as our first visit, and we shall certainly return a third time!!

Nice but over priced

The hotel is lovely. The restaurant was very expensive for the amount of food you get - very overpriced and felt the staff didnt really want to be there. The swimming pool needs a complete refurbishment. Green algea around the edge.. the walls were all peeling and the tiles on the bottom of the pool had all come away - very poor!

Relaxing, romantic but in need of investment

Lovely country hotel with a unique relaxing feel. The hotel is luxurious on the face of it but the finer details need investment. The food in the restaurant is incredibly tasty but largely over priced
