Excellent and we hope to stay there again!
Fab Easter stay
Lovely hotel and grounds staff were very friendly we had a great stay
Lovely helpful staff and great food but .
Our rooms were disappointing. The rooms were clean and the bedding lovely but the decor was tired and shabby. Our first room in the piggery had a mouldy rotting Roman blind, the double glazing was full of condensation and the bathroom was scruffy. Lucky for us the room (annexe) had no hot water so we were moved to room 11. It was a much better room but again the bathroom was scruffy. The bathroom had painted peeling off the walls, damp stains, toilet roll holder hanging of the wall and mould around the windows. The owners of the hotel should be ashamed of themselves letting out rooms in that condition.
Thank you
Excellent, a terrific time. We certainly want to come again.

Spent two nights here with friends. The staff were welcoming and helpful, rooms comfortable and the restaurant good. Being walking distance from the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon would certainly stay here again. We had a most enjoyable stay, helped by the perfect weather that enabled leisurely tea (delicious) and then drinks on the terrace!

Overall it was a charming place if a little tired. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Although it was dog friendly this was not a problem for people without dogs as they were kept to separate rooms. The food was somewhat disappointing but then food is very much a personal choice.

Super dog friendly
When a hotel says they are dog friendly often it s a tick box but this place really did welcome pets which was evidenced by the amount of dogs staying at the hotel. There was a genuine welcome with provision to dine with your pet in a separate dining room if required. There was dog bed, bowl and treats provided and plenty of places for a dog walk. Even a dog wash station!! The room opened to a courtyard perfect for our dog and the room was lovely - not doggie at all. The restaurant food was excellent as was the service and the wine list extensive but not cheap!! The gin bar was a great feature with over 200 gins and staff always ready to discuss their favourites. I wish I d known they have a swimming pool though as it didn t appear to be well advertised and no one was using it. Maybe next time.
