Very underwhelming

The place felt a bit run down. The room we were given had the restaurant extractor fan right outside our room. It was very noisy. The shower/bath plug did not drain and the room was initially cold. When we complained about this the person didn t know how to respond - no apology etc. they did go to the room and adjusted the temperature.

The next day we told another person who tried her best to help. But they could fix the bath or change the noise.

I felt we had paid more than we usually pay for the room and it was disappointing.

The restaurant was ok. Nothing great. Portion sizes were not great.

Overall, our stay was ok. But I would not want to stay there again.

A lovely hideaway

This is a warm and welcoming place to stay. The gin bar is fantastic and the staff are friendly.

Overnight stay

It was a real treat to stay with you, I had booked it
a while ago for myself and daughter, and found the
right time to stay as I am due to go in for a Major
Cancer operation.
Staying with you gave me a real boost, the whole
experience was wonderful. The food, service and of
Course our wonderful room.

Friendly staff

The stay was everything we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

A very enjoyable short break

A warm welcome and a lovely and somewhat quirky room. The hotel is ideally located for visits to Bath and Frome and Bradford on Avon.
Breakfasts were good but we found that for dinner we would have preferred some more conservative dishes although we accept that is just a personal taste.
The staff were very friendly and helpful which made for a very pleasant stay
