Gorgeous romantic stay!
We were delighted with our stay at Widbrook Grange, it honestly couldn t of been any better! Our room was gorgeous, we stayed in the music room so in the main building, there was a lovely roll top bath in the room, a extremely comfortable huge bed with lovely sheets, a separate shower room and toilet and all the other amenities you d expect.
We booked in to use the pool which they only allowed max 5 people in at a time for an hour, and there was only one other couple in there. I would say the pool was a tad cold, so we didn t stay for the full hour. Otherwise it was lovely and relaxing, great to have a swim after not being since lockdown!
Then the dinner was fantastic, and they had a huge range of gins which was great! No faults on the service or the food itself, it was perfect!
We also opted for the breakfast in bed the next morning which was lovely, ordered by the phone in the room and it was with us within 20 minutes!
I wouldn t hesitate to book here again.
Wonderful stay
I took my daughter for a midweek girls night away All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, room was lovely and big, very clean and biscuits with the tea & coffee!! Restaurant had excellent food. My daughter especially appreciated the wide variety of gins in the gin bar before dinner. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay, would highly recommend.

Super Break in a lovely hotel
We stopped here for my Birthday and I honestly couldn't fault our stop. There were plenty of hand sanitisers around the place and all staff wore masks. We observed everything being wiped down methodically, so felt quite safe. The staff were extremely friendly, the food was excellent and the location was great. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with quirky touches, making it unique. We used the pool, you have to book an hour slot and then have the pool to yourself, which worked well with us.The only thing we noticed were the gardens needed a bit of tlc, this may have been due to the shutdown through Covid. The gardens would be a lovely feature if tidied up a bit.
The Dogs Holiday!
It s rare that we take our Cavachon Luca on holiday but we felt a family break away was long over due so Luca came too. He was made especially welcome from the moment we arrived, reception petted him and we were directed to our courtyard room where gifts for the dog were on display together with the comfiest basket for him. He settled easily into his basket and next morning came with us for breakfast in the orangery and was served with his own bowl of cooked sausages. He met other dogs that were on holiday with their owners and they were all very well behaved and relaxed. Perfect!
We especially appreciated the quality of the bedding and the comfort of our bedroom and bathroom. The lounge areas are relaxing, not over decorated and with some quirky industrial pieces of interest. The breakfasts were very good and if there is any criticism it would be that the service was slower than usual possibly through the extra measures they had to take to keep us all safe from infection. The evening menu was limited in choice but it was very nicely presented and tasty. All in all in these difficult times we had a delightful two nights stay and were welcomed and made to feel safe in our choice of hotel.

A nice, out of town location for exploring the surrounding area and a 20 min walk along the canal into Bradford itself (useful given the traffic and narrow roads)
Service was somewhat compromised by the Covid restrictions but everyone was very friendly.
Worth noting that during the current crisis the pub across the road closes as early as 9pm.
Widbrook Grange
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our main concern was although the the evening meal was well prepared and presented there was basically 4 choices which were the same each night.
Also your website should delete discounted golf as this was incorrect.

Staycation Pt2
This was the middle/second section of our staycation.
Check in was definitely CV aware as were the staff.
We had The Artists room (Toulouse Lautrec) I reckon by the keyhole !!
This was certainly memorable and characterful with a very comfortable, big bed.
The hotel was perfectly clean and if anything was needed for the room it was bought to your door on a tray. No staff entered our room during our stay, minimising the risk of CV.
The restaurant was spacious and the tables adequately spaced, while the menu wasn t huge it was all tasty, well cooked and well presented.
Waitstaff both for dinner and breakfast were friendly and efficient.
Couldn t as for more really.
I d recommend to anyone, especially gin drinkers !
