Excellent Dog Friendly Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at Widbrook Grange. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, all the staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Us and our dog were made very welcom. Our Stables room was stylish, large and very comfortable. The grounds to the hotel are large, well kept and there are plenty of places to sit and relax with comfortable seating and outdoor games provided. The food in the restaurant was amazing, fresh, well cooked and served with a smile ! We were even allowed to eat in the conservatory with our dog, who got his own sausage for breakfast. And to top our stay there is a great Gin Bar.
Would definitely recommend a stay at Widbrook Grange, which is close to Bath and in a lovely area. We won't hesitate to come back. Thanks to everyone there for making our stay so enjoyable.

Our midweek break

Nice room, well placed next to a lovely pool
Restaurant good food, reasonable portions
Plumbing in room not brilliant, water pressure low, shower just OK toilet nearly backed up on several occasions
However we enjoyed our stay, gardens were beautiful

An enjoyable break

The hotel is in a convenient location. We had a good sized room in the Stable block with a huge,very comfortable bed.The staff were very friendly and helpful and obeyed all the Covid rules.
Our only complaint was the menu, it was the same every breakfast time and for the four dinner times that we were there. The soup was mushroom every night! There were choices on the menu but exactly the same every day. Everything we had was delicious but would just have liked more choice. I thought most hotels had some rotation of menus. Our only other comment was that the grounds could do with a bit of TLC.
Overall it was a very enjoyable break but the menu would stop us rushing back.

Dog-friendly delight

We had a brilliant stay at Widbrook Grange. The decor is well chosen and thoughtful, the food is absolutely delicious and the staff are welcoming and friendly. We had a couple of nights in the hotel with our dog, eating dinner both nights, feasting on breakfast, swimming in the pool and enjoying the lounge and gin bar. It's really a gem of a place, so lucky to have stayed here, and our dog loved the treats - a bed and bowl in the room and sausage at breakfast, and such welcoming staff.

Great break

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay all aspects for Covid 19 adhered to. Staff extremely helpful.
Rooms very comfortable with quirky decoration.
Food very good delicious breakfast and good quality evening meal.
Gin bar to die for!!
I would recommend and hope to visit again.
