A relaxing break

WE had a night at the Greenway Hotel which we found very comfortable with warm and helpful staff. The Spa is small but very pleasant. I had told the hotel twice that I was gluten intolerant but the menu had only one main course ( lentils) listed without gluten and no gluten free deserts. I get frustrated by restaurants which serve a dish and remove the gluten containing element rather than preparing a complete gluten free dish. When I expressed my disappointment the chef provided a delicious meal. It would have been better not to be disappointed in the first place and clearly offer gluten free dishes.

Arrival inviting and welcoming. Recomendations to Management.

Room Furniture tired. Room could do with refurb. No light over bathroom mirror. Roman blind hanging at angle and left. Toilet flush and telephone point hanging from wall. Shower ceiling paint coming off.
Bath panel water damage.

Food quality good, but not good value.
6 supplement for just one scallop. 4 day stay with same small menu. 45 minute spa too short min. should be 1 hour.

If above rectfied then would stay again.

Relaxing stay in an unpretentious country house spa hotel

We had a lovely time at the Greenway. Food was decent, with a good standard of cooking and the spa was very relaxing.

Customer service is poor, and the reception staff do not know the facts eg whether they have super king sized beds which they do - but the staff said they only had king size ! one staff member there was excellent and so helpful her same was Aeof (not sure i have spelt it right) but she was really lovely - but the only one. Restaurant is not great food ok but such tiny portions - and for breakfast I was given salt for my cornflakes instead of sugar !!!.
Unfortunately no one apologised to us and it is a shame as it is a lovely hotel in a great position - but the staff need to up there game.

Despite it being a beautiful building we felt the rooms were very tired- particularly the bathroom
When you book a treat like this you want to feel you are in a pristine bathroom better than home but this was not the case
The restaurant was good and the spa clean and nice staff but limited in what it offered

Relaxing Getaway

From arrival to departure the hotel team were attentive and helpful - the hotel offers a really relaxing environment in a beautiful setting we absolutely stay again.

Enjoyable break

My husband and I had a very enjoyable relaxing break. Chocolates & card was a lovely added extra,

thank you very much , especially as our overnight break was a surprise 70th birthday gift from my

family.
