A lovely hotel for a romantic stay

We went for a 2 night stay for my partners 60th birthday and I wanted to have a quiet, romantic hotel with great food. We weren t disappointed, our suite was amazing (Cedar) and the staff couldn t do enough for us. The food was gorgeous and we couldn t have asked for more. A truly memorable stay at a lovely hotel. Thoroughly recommended!

Wonderful 2 night stay

We had a lovely romantic break in this gorgeous hotel. All the team were so attentive.

Short term break

We decided that we wanted a short break not too far from home from which we could visit Slimbridge.

The hotel was absolutely ideal with a fantastic view from our room and great grounds to walk round.

The food in the restaurant was fantastic as was the service.

Lovely location

We have recently stayed for 3 nights and cannot fault the location, hotel or staff. The breakfast was really good. The staff couldn't have done more to make the stay any better. The chef has a wonderful selection of food available.

Nice break

Booked a master room which tuned out to overlook the hot tub so quite noisy. The room had not been checked before we arrived the lights did not work. When reported was told could not be fixed while we occupied the room. No solution offered.
Despite booking a spa treatment and time slot in the pool, there were no loungers free for us so could not get full use of the facilities.
Restaurant staff very hard working and efficient.
We enjoyed the break but would probably not stay there again.

Celebrated our Golden Wedding here and had a fabulous relaxing spa day and wonderful food. Love d
