Just What We Wanted

We were looking for a comfortable hotel with a good restaurant, close to a few National Trust sites and this fitted the bill perfectly. Friendly staff, a comfortable room and an excellent meal.

very poor menu and expensive i found part of a cocktail stick in my meal i brought it to the attention of the server and he just said sorry and that was it you would think that they would offer a drink or something to apologise but nothing rooms are basic no free drink on arrival

Welcoming Hotel

The staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfasts were excellent and the room comfortable and clean. Only minor complaint - no biscuits for tea or coffee !!
Would certainly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again

Nice evening in peaceful surroundings

We really enjoyed our one night stopover travelling from Scotland to France. Comfortable bedroom lovely evening meal and breakfast and a special mention to the staff who were really attentive. Would stay again

Great location. Rooms need overhaul

The rooms in need of updating. The bathrooms were poor they need ripping out and a complete refurbishment

It was OK but could have been better

The room layout was identical to a budget motel but the decor was slightly better, although the carpet was stained in several places. The radiator gave out heat at some very random times but not when the room was cold. Unfortunately, reception staff were unable to do anything about it, except provide an extra duvet. The restaurant struggled to provide everything on the menu, including coffee after dinner, as the machine was broken for the entire time (3 days/2 nights). The staff at breakfast were willing and helpful but didn t seem to have anyone managing them, so they struggled to keep up with demand, even though it seemed quiet. I think we would ve had better value at a Premier Inn with an attached restaurant. Disappointed with the quality considering the price.

The Charlecote pheasant hotel , offers a smart relaxing stay at very good value for money, our room was spacious clean and modern , and importantly to us quiet. The restaurant offered a slightly limited menu but there was enough choice and the quality was very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful so if your looking for a relaxing weekend break near Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick it would be hard to beat.
