Ok for a short break.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Room was ok however basin in the en-suite had been broken and repaired. We weren't told that the rooms were not made up as a matter of course but had to be requested.
Breakfast was good, as there were so few staying hot food was cooked to order
The evening menu wasn't changed whilst we were there.
The bar manager wasn't very cheerful.
Very decent hotel close to Stratford Upon Avon
Staff were very welcoming. The room was a very pleasant surprise, large, clean and well appointed. Restaurant food was also of high quality, above expectations, as was breakfast with a good range of food on offer. Recommended.
Charlecote Pheasant Mini Break
Stay with friends for a birthday (2 couples) and rooms were standard double which were clean with plenty of space. The ensuites included a bath and a shower.
We had pre-booked dinner, bed and breakfast - the room and the breakfast were excellent but the choice of food on the dinner menu was very limited although good quality. If you are not keen on pizza then this is not the break for you although there were a couple of other options.

3rd Stay
The hotel is average and probably what you would expect for the money. It was our 3rd stay and unfortunately the last. The hotel has deteriorated and although the room was very clean and the staff were friendly they were sparse to say the least! On the Sunday (I appreciate it was New Years Eve)
There was absolutely no staff in the restaurant!
Fortunately a man in the kitchen came to refill the sausages and I was able to ask him to fill the empty orange and apple juice and fresh milk ( all empty)
Almost every table was full of used breakfast crockery and breakfast on plates, quite off putting.
It lacked any kind of atmosphere and as there is no music it was a gloomy affair with customers looking around for assistance.
The food is just about average in quality and a very limited menu
.
Christmas break
Nice hotel in lovely countryside. Clean and welcoming, the only criticism would be there was nothing arranged in the hotel for Christmas. Maybe could arrange a quiz or games of some sort. Lounge was quite small so if no seating available only option was to go to your room
Overall value for money
Pleasant hotel with pleasant staff. Only criticism would be poor and very loud entertainment on Christmas Eve and lack of sufficient seating in the lounge.
Wonderful Stay
I stayed by myself over the Christmas break. I had a lovely time. The food was excellent, hot, tasty and plentiful! The ambience welcoming and with a very efficient young staff - no waiting for anything, anywhere. The church over the road was welcoming for the christmas service and generally, I had a good, relaxing time. I will be back!
