Stop over in the Cotswolds

GC, Kent, stayed: August 2016

We picked this hotel at random and was pleasantly surprised to find a nice Cotswold hotel in the centre of the town. The staff were very nice and our room was a good size and well proportioned. Unfortunately the window didn't shut and as it looked out over the courtyard the smoking and noise from the outside drinkers was quite noticeable, this was further exacerbated by the staff gathering under the window (our room was above the kitchen door) at the end of their shift to chatter before they left very late, then we had a very good night's sleep, until the early morning delivery people arrived. The food in the restaurant was very good and it was so nice to find a place that was so dog friendly

Walking weekend

Debra, South Yorkshire, stayed: April 2016

The bar would have benefitted from the fire being lit, especially as we had snow! We were quite cold in there. We attempted to go to the spa but it was full. A good meeting place for a group of friends to meet in centre.
