Nicola, Gloucestershire, stayed: January 2017

Perfect romantic getaway; lovely combination of special yet comfy. Good food, inexpensive wines, nice extra touches. Just what we wanted.

Superb

Alan, Middlesex, stayed: January 2017

We had a thoroughly enjoyable New Years Eve at the Noel Arms. The staff were extremely welcoming and the relaxing ambience, log fires and wonderful food/drink made it an event not to be missed. We will definitely be back.

A Cotswold Break

John E, Bath, stayed: November 2016

Our room was comfortable if a little faded, with good facilities.  Food and service were good. The coffee shop was a useful touch.  A good centre for touring the Cotswolds, and the village itself was a pleasant place. Handy for Stratford and Hidcote.  The extras as part of the deal were appreciated.  We would stay again, though would prefer a room not overlooking the road.

We all loved our stay

AB, Hampshire, stayed: October 2016

This was a wonderful weekend stay. This hotel is right on the main street, but has a car park, so you can park your car, and walk everywhere. We found the hotel staff to be very welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent throughout the weekend, from the coffee and cake in the cafe to the wonderful dinners. The complimentary hot drink and cake, plus the champagne at dinner were very much appreciated. We enjoyed visiting the lovely shops in the town, and we enjoyed a few other pretty towns in the area.

I have recommended this hotel with its wonderful location and fabulous food to my wider family.

Beyond expectation

Christopher B, Norfolk, stayed: October 2016

Beyond expectation.  Booked 2 night Telegraph deal to meet Cornish based friends at halfway point from N.Norfolk. We commend all staff, with the best welcome at Reception and  Restaurant value with excellent food from Sri Lanka, first class altho' we did not manage the breakfast curry dish on offer. Fine restaurant meals and also bar snacks. We will return next year.  Great base for the Cotswolds and dog friendly with fields close for exercise.  Room Tip: Request room over courtyard

We were badly in need of a relaxing weekend, the hotel ticked all the boxes. Nice room, lovely food, cosy bar, and great staff. Will be coming again, a quick mention for Restaurant Staff who were superb.
