Great friendly helpful staff
Lovely characterful Hotel in the heart of the village but with a lovely well kept garden and outside space. Nice relaxing ambiance and the perfect spot to explore the Cotswolds from.
Disappointed as noisy with group of men drunk using foul language in bar and garden until 2am
Hotel is okay. In middle of Main Street. Unfortunately our 2 day relaxing break was spoilt by this group of lads who were drinking and noisy from 7pm ish until 2.00 am. Our room was above the bar and our window was above garden. I weto reception at 1am and complained of the noise and the language being used and the receptionist asked the party to quieten down but unfortunately they didn t and then at 2 am they were stumbling up stairs falling into our door and shouting about what time they were meeting for breakfast. Then 2 of them were in the room above us and took ages to settle down. Therefore we got very little sleep. The second night at about 5am in preparation for a wedding the staff were shifting furniture in the wedding room which was also below us. For the money we paid for a relaxing weekend it was very disappointing. Hotel is very Cotswolds style but there was no carpet on stairs which also made it noisy.
Country Hotel - The Manor House
A beautiful hotel with real history so if you want to travel back to times gone by this hotel will give you that feeling. From start to finish our stay here was enjoyable. The staff are friendly, the cleanliness at the hotel was a 10 out of 10. Breakfast time-was extended which is good for the late rises. There was plenty of variety on the menu. Sadly we were unable to visit the main restaurant due to the hotel having an unforeseen incident with their gas supply. But, if breakfast was an indication of quality you will not be disappointed.

Our stay at the hotel met all expectations. Staff were very professional with a friendly manner. They all went the extra mile. Location excellent too.

Winter Weekend Break - Most Certainly
A lovely stay - unreservedly recommended
Beautiful hotel and location
Very nice staff - reception and restaurant-professional and personable
Restaurant- low key relaxed and beautiful food
Our bedroom was very nice - great bed and view from the window
Very welcoming atmosphere
Lovely place, excellent restaurant and comfy public rooms, with very pleasant and helpful staff but the room, while well-equipped, was very small and the ensuite even smaller. Really welcomed them having an electric charge point, even though domestic (ie, slow) rather than rapid.
Memorable stay
The staff in the hotel, restaurant and bar area were very nice. We liked the building, garden and room decor. We found it comfortable and charming. It was busy with a wedding staying there as well so it was lively. We will come back.
