Lovely hotel and staff
Welcome from reception very good, she was friendly and helpful, showing us around the downstairs area before taking us to our room. The hotel is a bit higgledy-piggledy in layout which adds to its charm.
Dinner - well what can I say? Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful, service was a little slow but if you are getting freshly made food then you must be prepared to wait, and my, was it worth the wait. The food is amazing.
Breakfast - again great staff and lovely food.
Nothing to complain about the area is lovely, the hotel is lovely and the staff are a credit to the owners.
Review for Manor House Hotel
Lovely hotel, beautiful gardens. Staff very helpful, gave us an upgrade without us asking! It was very nice to be give n a vegetarian menu for one of us to choose ffom as usually we have quite a problem.
We had a lovely evening meal and good service. We would certainly stay there again and would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Very nice, lovely food and staff
Wonderful romantic stay
Stayed at the Manor House Hotel for two nights beginning of February and had a really lovely stay. The staff are extremely friendly, room really comfortable and food excellent. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back at some point.
Fabulous!
Really lovely little hotel with a wonderful atmosphere and relaxing style. Cosy but luxurious rooms and a great restaurant. Their 8 course gourmet tasting menu is perfect. They very kindly contacted us in advance to warn us of a wedding taking place on one of the days we were staying and to let us know we might hear music until 12:30am. They said they would put us in the furthest away rooms but couldn't guarantee we would be undisturbed. It didn't worry us and I have to say it was one of the quietest rooms we have ever stayed in, especially given that we overlooked the High Street. No sounds at all! Lovely staff, really helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Romantic Hideaway
We enjoyed our mini break at The Manor House Hotel for so many reasons.Amazing location all set within a walled garden hidden from the High Street.Loved the conservatory dining room overlooking the garden. All very private.Very warm welcome on arrival and friendly staff.Attention to detail par excellence and nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast was excellent and service always with a smile. Our double room was spacious and very comfortable - again with views overlooking the garden. All very romantic.
