A delightful interlude
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a beautiful location. The hotel manages to combine luxury and excellent service from a well trained and friendly staff working to create an informal environment that was much enjoyed.
Two small niggles: The restaurant would benefit from lighter decor and the chairs, although comfortable, are rather heavy. The sound-proofing between the ground and first floor in the courtyard rooms requires improvement - the footfall from the bedroom above was quite intrusive.
We appreciate that the current owners have only been at the helm for around a year and, we're sure, have plans to make Charingworth Manor an even more desirable location. But, please, don't overdo it!

Overall a lovely stay. Excellent and attentive staff particularly when the shower in our room could not be turned off and control fell to pieces. We were promptly moved to another room.

Overall very good except that room was rather dark as french doors did not let in much light
Great hotel in the cotswolds
Up in the hills outside Chipping Camden took a bit of finding in the car.
But well worth the search. Lovely small hotel with nice grounds approached via an impressive
long picturesque drive. We had one of the cosy comfort rooms which was small but adequate.
The restaurant has a good ambience and the food at both dinner and breakfast was outstanding.
Luxurious and welcoming
The Charingworth Manor was in a wonderful location, both for itself and for sightseeing in the Cotswolds. The food was excellent and our room spacious and comfortable. The staff were polite, efficient and welcoming. Although we paid a little over the odds by our usual standard, it was well worth it.
Birthday stay
Only for one night but Charingworth Manor ticked all the boxes on comfort, service and food. Would be happy to stay again
Great overnight getaway
My sister and I treated ourselves to a one night stay here and what a treat it was.
The hotel is set in a beautiful location with amazing views. We received a warm welcome from reception staff. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable too. We had a 3 couse meal in the restaurant in the evening, both quality of service and the food were excellent as was breakfast the next day. The weather was sunny so we took advantage of spending time outside taking in the amazing views.
Comfortable and stylish
A fantastic bolt hole away from the every day. I met my old school friend for a 2 night sparkling break with a dinner and breakfasts included. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had our sparkling wine in the garden which overlooks the Cotswolds landscape. Later we sat watching the full moon rising along with pipestrel bats catching .
Breakfasts had a great selection. Pool had plenty of not busy times. Staff were attentive but relaxed.
It made the perfect place to catch up.
Thank you Charringworth.
