History of the hotel
Charingworth Manor is an ancient estate, mentioned in Domesday Book. The main house of today is a Jacobean mansion with tall chimneys and mullion windows.
The writer T.S.Eliot was a frequent visitor when it belonged to the Cresswell family. It was here, in the 1930s, that he wrote Burnt Norton.
Child Policy
Selected Deluxe rooms and Suites can sleep up to two adults and two children up to the age of 12 years old either on a sofa bed or a Z bed.
Children up to 12 years old are charged £60 per child per night. Cots are provided free of charge.

Dogs Policy
Charingworth Manor is a dog-friendly hotel.
Dogs are accepted in the Courtyard Rooms with Terrace, a maximum of 2 dogs per room. The cost is £30 per dog per night.
Dogs are welcome in the lounge but not the restaurant.
Please contact us if a dog-friendly room is required.
Other Information
To help you find us, we are located on the B4035 between Chipping Campden and Shipston on Stour. Your navigation system may try to divert you from this road onto narrow country lanes and we can't be reached from the narrow lanes so do stay on the B4035.
A 10% service charge is added to your account for dinner, lounge food, snacks and drinks. This is shared and paid in full to our teams. If you do not wish this to be added please just let us know by speaking with a member of the team or reception when you settle your account and this will be removed without question.

Courtyard Comfort room
The Courtyard Comfort rooms are also based in the cottage rooms but are a bit more spacious. They're decorated in a style to reflect the country location, many overlook the hotel's extensive grounds and beyond. You can curl up with a book on an easy chair and enjoy a great night's sleep in a King-sized bed.

Courtyard Bedroom and Sitting Room
The Courtyard Bedrooms & Sitting Rooms are the luxurious suites – Blockley and Ebrington are located on the first floor of the cottages section of the hotel. The Brismar is located on the first floor of the main house and overlooks the rear lawn across the Cotswolds.
You'll find plenty of space to spread out, a wonderfully comfortable king-sized bed, easy chairs to relax in with a book or magazine, and a large bathroom with bath and shower.
