Cheltenham Gold Cup
The Cheltenham Gold Cup is a UK National Hunt horse race held during the Cheltenham Festival in March of every year. The course is 3 miles long and is open to horses aged five years and older.
The UK’s most prestigious chase
First run in 1924, the Cheltenham Gold Cup is widely acknowledged as being the most prestigious chase in the UK. The course consists of 22 fences and the most successful horse ever was ‘Golden Miller’ which won the race five times from 1932.
