The Cotswold Falconry Centre
Opened in 1988, the Cotswold Falconry Centre houses between 80-100 Birds of Prey including Falcons, Hawks, Eagles, Owls, Vultures and Caracara. In 1994 it homed its first Peregrine Falcon and in 2005 started the Owl wood project. This attempted to bring together the full range of British owls as well as some more exotic species.
One of the aims of the centre is promoting education and understanding of the birds. To this end there are a number of tours and lectures about the species and visitors can also hold some of the birds.
