Enjoyed our stay

Anon, stayed: September 2021

Friendly and welcoming. Food and restaurant service was excellent, the gin bar a real experience, and the bartenders were knowledgeable, and very obliging.

We spent two nights with friends, and had a great stay.

Bath Time

SB, Norfolk, stayed: September 2021

Widbrook Grange is in a great position. 20 minutes walk from the train station, with only a 15 minute ride into Bath.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was great, although not being dog fans, we probably should have noted the 'dog-friendly' description.
The food was very good. The waiters and waitresses did an excellent job, with lots of smiles.

Lovely boutique hotel

Lovely break at a characterful hotel. The decor was aesthetically pleasing, the pool any gym were good - but the restaurant was exceptional. Would recommend

A little gem

MC, Gloucestershire, stayed: September 2021

Our stay was booked as a surprise gift for our Anniversary and it was tucked away in a lovely country setting but not far from Bradford on Avon. The gardens were lovely with lots of hidden seating and great to wander and look at the garden sculptures while enjoying a drink or two. Amazing Gin room too! Service was excellent, especially in the restaurant, very welcoming and attentive, lovely ambience. Food was delicious and I loved it was fresh and locally sourced. Nice touch to have an anniversary card and heart shape on our bed in the room too. Fantastic short break for us, doggy friendly too would recommend and will be visiting again. What an amazing find well worth a visit.

Lovely little gem

Nicky H, Devon, stayed: September 2021

Great location, lovely walks nearby and easy transport links to Bath and surrounding areas. Super friendly staff who were only to happy to advise on places to visit. Our room was very big and had a very comfy bed. Food was amazing, couldn't fault it, we stayed 3 nights and tried different dishes, chocolate dessert is to die for, and breakfast was really good too. Small hotel so creates a nice homely feel. Would thoroughly recommend.

A little Gem

CB, Oxfordshire, stayed: September 2021

Our stay was a surprise gift from our Son and Daughter in law to enable us to bring our beloved pooch.
We were all made welcome and the food was delicious.
Will definitely be back an ideal stopover on our way to Cornwall

Enjoyable two-night stay

Teresa H, Cornwall, stayed: October 2021

Had an ongoing credit from cancellation of a reservation at another hotel due to last year's lockdown. Very pleased with our choice of Widbrook as it was close to locations we wished to visit this time. The package we received made it very good value as it included dining credits and complementary drinks at the amazing 'gin bar'. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and we found all the staff to be very helpful. It is a place where dogs are welcome and for those who wish to dine with their dogs, it was nice to see that there was a separate dining area with dog bed and treats supplied. The only things which I missed in the room was a note of hotel information i.e. meal times, details of pool/spa, etc. and also a small fridge for keeping 'real millk' cool. Apart from that, an excellent stay.
