Comfortable but lacking in love

We came for a weekend Saturday/Sunday with our two dogs, the room was large and spacious and lovely treats for the dogs. We were told a week before that there was a wedding on so we would not be able to use any facilities at the hotel on the Saturday although it did open for dinner. The restaurant staff were amazing very friendly and helpful and the food was good. For October having to eat in the conservatory because we had dogs did not feel very inviting we asked if we could have our dinner in the library/snug instead and were told no. It was suggested that we park around the back but to walk from the parking area to our room was not easy uneven paving and difficult when wet. It never felt that there was any manager or deputy around to liaise with guests and the feeling we were left with is that it seems to be very much used as a venue hotel rather than for staying guests.

Very pleasant overnight stay.

Arrived on chilly November day and did not initially get a cosy feel. Went elsewhere to find some lunch and then returned later in the afternoon. By this time it was lovely and warm , we had a lovely room with huge bed. The small bar was very pleasant and dinner in the restaurant was very good.
Widbrook Grange is a little quirky and ideal if you want to visit Bradford on Avon a mile or so away. I was disappointed the open fires were not lit on a dull grey Winter day as I was looking forward to sitting in one of the small lounges and reading my book. There is a very nice indoor pool.

Relax at Widbrook Grange

Our stay at Widbrook Grange was totally enjoyable from start to finish. We enjoyed our welcome drinks in the bar and then relaxed in our spacious and beautifully appointed room. The bathroom was fabulous. We enjoyed an exceptional meal in the restaurant which was very good value for money. Breakfast was delicious and impeccably served and set us up for the day. Customer service here is first class with staff who were pleasant, helpful and welcoming. We departed rested and very satisfied.

Delicious food and wine mini-break at Widbrook Grange!

Lovely hotel just outside Bradford on Avon. Stayed in The Artist s room which was full of quirky original artist features such as an artist s colour palette and box for the coffee making facilities and artist easel which housed the TV.
The food was absolutely stunning with high-quality ingredients. I d definitely go back.

Relaxed atmosphere in this Country House Hotel.

V Relaxed stay in warm room with comfortable large bed. .We dint notice any outside noise and had 3 x good nights sleep. Though I'm naturally suspicious of nouveau cuisine, as I believe all meal should come with veg and carbs I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and size of portions. When ordering a main plus potatoes and veg we left very full and satisfied. The Gin bar and Lounge were comfortable.The pool looked very inviting and we would have liked a dip,unfortunately apparently the pool heating had failed immediately prior to our arrival and the water was cool. The grounds looked v nice and spacious, but as it was December we didn't linger long outside. Overall very agreeable stay.

Enjoyable Stay

A most enjoyable 2 night stay at Widbrook Grange.
The staff were very engaging from the moment we arrived to the time we departed. Our room was comfortable with lovely views to the open countryside.
The hotel lounges were cosy with an open fire. The restaurant was pleasant and the food was excellent although not an extensive menu choice.
