Relaxing Night Away

Jo E, Wiltshire, stayed: August 2023

From the second we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble.
The food was absolutely beautiful and the prosecco was so lovely, best I've tasted in a while.
The service was immaculate, again the staff made you feel like you were the only person staying there.
We felt comfortable and waited on and the room was so so comfortable. I would recommend to everyone and would love to stay again.

a perfect getaway

CB, Hampshire, stayed: August 2023

a perfect way to spend a few days celebrating my birthday, loved the styling of the rooms, the historical setting and lovely grounds, good food and fun gin bar. Added bonus of a swimming pool. Also took advantage of the spa treatments offered. Have already recommended the hotel to friends

We enjoyed our stay and have given a written review direct to the hotel. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly and so was the food. Our room, which was a dog friendly one, was large and comfortable but we felt that the bathroom needed quite a bit of attention. I have put that in my review to them and hope that they will be able to do something about it.

Great value and excellent food

AL, Hampshire, stayed: September 2023

Widbrook Grange is a lovely venue and the food was first class. The staff were really welcoming and the hotel had a comfortable atmosphere. We had an issue with our bedroom but we were offered another as soon as we complained which was helpful .We felt the rooms could have done with a bit more regular maintenance as there were several annoying little things which needed attention .We were lucky however to benefit from a deal which made our stay great value and we had a nice relaxing break.

A happy time for 4 of us

AC, Cheshire, stayed: September 2023

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was good, but we could not open any windows.

Helpful pleasant staff. Disappointed that the dinner menu was the same for 2 nights. Very nice food. Breakfasts 10 out of 10.

Our break at Wonderful Widbrook Grange

Anon, stayed: September 2023

We had an excellent four day break at the hotel. Our room, as requested, was on the ground with a lovely view of the garden
The water was always hot and towels big and fluffy. Enjoyed a swim in the pool and the water temperature was very pleasant. All the staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. Meals were well presented and excellent.

Off peak luxury not up to its name

LD, Cornwall, stayed: September 2023

Widbrook Grange is a lovely country hotel in well kept grounds.
We booked a 24 hr off peak luxury break for two.
The staff throughout our stay were courteous, efficient and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were delicious although I thought they might have tried to source local produce.
Our bed was enormous and very comfortable but the room lacked a full length mirror., and the door into the en-suite would not close properly,
After a late bath I was unable to remove the plug which had no chain or way of levering it up. Consequently morning showers were had calf deep in last nights cold bath water.
The loo roll holder fell apart when it was touched.
After mentioning these irritations by email to the manager I received a very brief acknowledgement and apology . Not luxury I m afraid. Should do better.
