A very pleasant stay. Comfortable and excellent dining.
What a Showstopper
Booked a mini break with my husband and some friends, what a venue! We were lucky enough to be given 2 of the themed rooms in the main house - OMG. What a sight upon entering the room, we had the Artist and Musician rooms - bugles turned into bedside lamps, artist easel into TV stand, the quirkiness was endless. If that was not enough we had free standing roll top baths in the bedrooms as well as a massive walk-in shower in the ensuite. The entire hotel did not fail to impress with its uniqueness and style throughout. Staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating and the food was some of the best I've eaten in a long time. They also allow you to bring your dogs and make them feel just as special with the provisions they make for them too. Whether you are looking for a romantic few days away, a family break or a country break with your 4-legged friend I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning.

Super break
My wife, myself and our border collie stayed here for two nights in April 2023 and had a great time. The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff and excellent facilities. We were given a super room and really loved the rather quaint and distinctive fixtures and fittings.
Unlike hotels where dogs are grudgingly allowed, Widbrook Grange really seems to welcome them.
Lots of places nearby to visit.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Superb stay, very friendly and helpful staff.
Welcoming
A wonderfully unusual hotel to spend your nights, with lots of personality to rooms and d cor.
Very dog friendly as they describe,
Beds are very comfortable.
Mixed review
Service and friendliness could not be faulted. Food was a bit of a disappointment - dinner lacked flavour but breakfast choices were good. Bar excellent if you like gin. Room (ARTIST'S) was on 2 levels with steep narrow stairs between bedroom and bathroom - to be avoided by elderly and disabled. A very unstable(broken?) side table not fit for purpose. Ground/garden interesting with several places to sit.
