Holiday with the dog
Fantastic quirky hotel in a great location. Great staff, lovely food & very dog friendly. We ate in the conservatory with several other dog owners. Everyone got chatting & laughing and then moved into the like we d been at a private party!
Special Occasion Short Stay.
Very nice place with well trained staff and 'super' dog friendly.
Food Very good; but short in quantity after a long walk by the canal.
Gardens and rear car park area, could benefit from from TLC.
An enjoyable stay
Our stay was excellent there only two recommendations:
Brighter lighting in room
Fix the sign at end of drive, some of the letters have drpooed off.
Great little find
Most enjoyable 3 day stay. Excellent location from which to explore the many attractions.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and communicative. The restaurant served good fresh meals. The breakfasts were exceedingly good. An added bonus was the swimming pool which was very clean and well looked after. We felt extremely safe with the attention to cleanliness throughout the hotel. Lastly the choice of gins was amazing.
My only reservation is that the shabby chic theme may not be to everyone s taste.
Brilliant hotel
We stayed for two nights and had an excellent experience. The hotel is very dog friendly, location was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. The gin bar was an added bonus ! Would highly recommend .
Anniversay treat
Booked for our 44th wedding anniversary (December) Lovely hotel and decor very Christmassy.
First class food and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our stay. Bonus to use the local bus to Bath so no worries with parking. If in this part of the world again we will gladly rebook.
Excellent!
The hotel is easily accessible and has plenty of parking. The staff were excellent (especially Atilla who looked after us throughout our stay). The food was also very good, well presented and varied. My wife is both vegetarian and coeliac which sometimes can be difficult but was not a problem here.
The room in the outside block was good but the windows could not be opened easily and the room was quite warm.
Location is perfect for visiting Bath and there is a bus stop at the end of the drive where you can catch a bus direct to the city.
There is also a station in nearby Bradford-on-Avon with frequent trains to Bath (Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely place to visit as well).
