Room view

I was in room 10. The view out of the front window was of cars parked right outside the window. The view out of the other window was of a garden area unkept with dead plants and overgrown.
We stayed for 3 nights and was allocated this room which was the closest room to a wedding venue on the Friday night. I would have thought this room should have been allocated to one of the wedding guests, so they would not have been affected by the disco which went on until 11pm.
The room itself was very comfortable and clean.
Would stay again but not in that room.
All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Relax and enjoy

The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The outdoor seating areas enabled us to enjoy the grounds and surrounding countryside while enjoying a pre-dinner drink. However, the dry and hot summer has left some of the grounds looking parched and scruffy. The dining room was ambient and the food (both dinner and breakfast) was outstanding.

Wonderful

We stayed here for two nights in September. All the hotel staff are extremely welcoming and very accommodating.
We stayed in the main house in the Artist s room which was very well presented, lots of room and a very large comfortable bed.
The breakfast was fantastic. The food was perfectly cooked and presented. Equally impressive was the evening meals, fine dining.
A great location, just a 20 minute stroll along the Kennet and Avon canal in to Bradford on Avon or 20 minute drive in to Bath.
We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Short break at widbrook

What a fantastic place to stay for our short break. Lovely setting. Lovely grounds. We stayed in the Seamstresses room and it was gorgeous,. Clean, spacious. The bed was comfortable and loved the bath in the room. The food was amazing. Staff were fantastic. I took a funny turn when I was staying and the staff looked after me really well. Can't fault anything about this wonderful place. Would absolutely stay again

Not your usual kind of h tel a lot of innovative furnishings, this hotel grew on me day by day will go again. A very positive break away from the boring norm

Enjoyable stay

Nice hotel, excellent staff who are so very helpful despite having a lot to do. Food was really well cooked and presented. Good choice at breakfast. One small niggle that one of sofas in lounge needed cleaning as did the cream sofa in our room.
