A lovely relaxing escape (from husbands and children!)

Amy, East Sussex, stayed: November 2022

My two best friends and I are so grateful you found this little gem. With a room for 3 (separate beds) at a hotel with a pool - it was a real gem of a find. And the food absolutely second to none both breakfast and evening meal included (up to the evening total spend) surpassed all expectations. We couldn t believe our luck. With a short drive to Bath and just down the road the beautiful town of Bradford upon Avon we had two days of touristing on our doorstep as well as the hotel providing a beauty therapist for any treatments you d like (of course we all did), a warm pool for a dip, a couple of cosy lounges with warm fires - you couldn t ask for more. AND you could take your dog if you d like (something my husband and I would like to do as children get a bit bigger!). Loved loved loved it. Thank you so much

Super stay in fantastic countryside farmhouse.

Scott S, stayed: November 2022

Arriving in driving rain, our welcome couldn't have been more sunny. All the staff were extremely jolly and helpful, from welcome, evening dinner and morning breakfast. Widbrook Grange is well worth visiting for the food alone. Both evening meal and morning full English breakfast were superb. Timing was well paced, service was friendly but not intrusive. The gin bar is outstanding, a huge range of gins and tonics and knowledgeable bar staff. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and had everything you need on hand including a well stocked tea tray. Definitely worth a trip and a place we'd return to.

Gorgeous hotel, beautiful location, lovely staff

Bec, Swansea, stayed: December 2022

As the title of this review suggests, we absolutely loved our stay at Widbrook Grange last weekend. We'd travelled from Wales to Bath Christmas Market and booked here on the Saturday night.
It's only about 9 miles from Bath, we'd never been to Bradford upon Avon before, but oh my gosh we will be back.
The little town is breathtakingly beautiful and quaint and looks like something out of a Harry Potter book. The Christmas lights just made it even more romantic.
Widbrook Grange is so lovely, as soon as we walked in we knew we'd made the right choice. It's so cosy and welcoming. All the staff are excellent, from the lovely receptionist who showed us to our cosy room, to the amazingly knowledgeable man serving in the gorgeous gin bar, to the waiters in the fab restaurant.
I'm vegan but my partner isn't. The menu for dinner and breakfast was great, I wasn't expecting such a good choice of vegan food.
Both our evening meals and breakfast were delicious.
We hope to make a trip to Widbrook Grange a yearly tradition!

Quirky country stay

PR, Surrey, stayed: December 2022

We had a lovely couple of nights, the food we ate
Was plentiful and flavoursome.
It was cold when we stayed and the restaurant
Could have been heated better, I ate breakfast
In my coat! I would definitely stay again
And enjoy a few more gins!

Beautiful place

Phil, Cornwall, stayed: December 2022

A lovely location just outside Bradford-on-Avon, which is delightful. Easy access to Bath by train and much better value. Wonderful food, cosy bar. Would come again

Lovely hotel - beautiful rooms and excellent food!

Gillian G, West Sussex, stayed: December 2022

We had a lovely pre-Christmas break with the family. The hotel is beautiful with lovely rooms and fantastic beds! The staff are incredibly helpful (we had some trouble with the heating which was sorted out very quickly). Food was very good, the breakfast is one of the best we ve had. No thimbles of juice here! Overall highly recommended. Dogs very welcome too. Only thing I d say is some non-gin based cocktails would be a good addition to the menu.
