Wonderful stay at the Widbrook Grange Hotel
Spent two days with another couple and it was such a wonderful stay. We could leave the car in the car park and walk along the Avon and Kennet canal to Bradford on Avon - it was superb! The grounds of this hotel are spectacular and a comfortable night s sleep in a huge bed. Quiet and peaceful and we will definitely be returning - a fantastic couple of days.
Short break
Fantastic stay once again will return great place to stay for short break.
Simply have nothing bad to say we'll done the Grange.
Just what we needed
This hotel was found for me when we were unable to use our other choices and the OPL staff were very helpful. At the hotel the staff were friendly and attentive. Good sized room, quiet, relaxing. Extensive breakfast menu and good choice on the evening menu, special vegan menu available for my daughter. Ideal position for visiting Bath and Bradford on Avon is an attractive town. Only negative - the decor was a bit tired, some general maintenance needed, but whose bothered about that when the rest was lovely. I didn t use the swimming pool but it looked inviting.
Ideal short break hotel
I booked 2 rooms for my husband's 70th birthday.
There were 4 of us and a baby. We enjoyed a fantastic meal
and spent time in the lovely indoor pool.
Widbrook is a quirky and attractive hotel.
Would definitely stay again.
Relaxing get away
Excellent room, good food, friendly staff
Excellent in every respect.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for a two night break. The room was spacious and very well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is an interesting and attractive Georgian building set in extensive grounds and approached by a long driveway giving a pleasant sense of relative isolation and privacy whilst still being within easy distance of Bradford-on-Avon, which can also be accessed via a pleasant walk along the nearby canal tow path.
The food and service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends.
A real treat!,
Had a super 3 night stay here, very friendly and comfortable. Our room was really special with a roll top bath in the room, very spacious. The staff were very helpful with advise for best places to park in the town, taking the train to Bath rather than taking the car, The restaurant was good, breakfast was excellent and the evening dinner was great but we felt the menu was restrictive and 3 nights was enough. Super gin bar. The swimming pool was really great. All in all a great stay. Thank you to all.
