Complimentary parking is available on site.
There are currently no Electric Car charging facilities at the hotel, however these can be found at the nearby Sainsbury's less than a 5 minute drive away.
Disabled Access
There is one ground floor, fully accessible room with a walk in shower which is a short walk from the main hotel building, this is a Deluxe Family room.
There is also one ground floor Junior Suite with a walk in shower. All Classic rooms have a shower over the bath.
The hotel does not have a lift.
All bedrooms are in the courtyard or stable blocks which are a short walk from the main hotel building. Please contact us if the accessible room is required.
History of the hotel
The name Widbrook dates from 1279 and relates to the brook that runs through the hotel's grounds. Widbrook Grange was originally built as a model farm during the early 1700's and consisted then, as it does today, of a large and impressive main house with its comfortable lounges and log fires. Surrounded by stables and barns which now house many bedrooms and an indoor swimming pool. On both sides of the house, reflecting its agricultural heritage, are some fine examples of bee bowls and extensive lawns sweep down to the brook.
Child Policy
Children are welcome in Family rooms. Children are charged at £25 per child per night on a bed and breakfast basis. There must be at least one adult in rooms with the children. There are two Family rooms which can accommodate two adults and two children.
There is no age or time restriction at the swimming pool for children, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Dogs Policy
Widbrook Grange is a dog-friendly hotel. Your pets will receive a warm welcome, they believe that no family member should be left behind!
Dog-friendly rooms are located in the stable block. There are no dog-friendly rooms in the main hotel. Owners are able to dine with their dog in the conservatory only.
Dogs are welcome in the lounge, snug and bar area (not to dine).Please note: £20 per dog fee will be charged, per night. Maximum 2 dogs in a room.
The grounds
Set in 11 acres of grounds, you may be lucky enough to see deer walking through, doves flying around, rabbits, pheasant and squirrels happily feeding.

Cosy Double room
The Cosy Double room is tucked away in The Piggery and overlooks the beautifully tended gardens. It's said to have more charm per square inch than any other room on the estate!

Classic Double room
Classic Double rooms are located in the beautifully converted stable buildings and annexes that surround the main farmhouse, just a short walk from the main hotel building. They are very light and airy with garden views.

- 400-thread Egyptian cotton sheets
- Luxurious goose-down duvets, sumptuous pillows and excellent mattress
- Fabulous en-suite bathroom (shower over bath)

These bedrooms are dog-friendly, but they are not family friendly. Twin bedded rooms are available on request, please contact us if a Twin bedded room is required.
Classic Twin room
Classic Twin rooms are located in the beautifully converted stable buildings and annexes that surround the main farmhouse, just a short walk from the main hotel building. They are very light and airy with garden views.

These family-friendly rooms are located in the lovingly converted stable block, overlooking the Farmhouse courtyard, these spacious bedrooms are quirky and homely in all the right measures.

- Emperor size bed - can be twinned if necessary
- 400-thread Egyptian cotton sheets
- Luxurious goose-down duvets, sumptuous pillows and excellent mattress
- Fabulous, spacious en-suite bathroom (shower over bath)
- Well-stocked hospitality trays with Teapigs teas
- Iron and ironing board
- 40-inch TV

- Sofa bed available
These bedrooms are dog-friendly, and additional beds can be added if you're staying as a family. The large emperor-sized bed can be twinned if preferred, and there is a sofa bed.
Please note that our additional pull-out beds have an age limit of 16 years old.

Super Deluxe Double
These dreamy Super Deluxe Double bedrooms are on the first floor in the main Farmhouse, at the heart of the estate. They aren't dog-friendly but they are literally everything else. Each has an individual design: discover The Artist's Room, The Music Room and The Seamstress' Room, each with it's own collection of curiosities, handpicked from around the globe to make your experience truly original.

The Junior Suite is the most spacious bedroom on the Widbrook estate. Located in the lovingly renovated stable block, the Junior Suite is dog-friendly, with access to the gardens. It's the perfect choice for a romantic escape to the country, a jaunt for the whole family (up to three single beds can be added), or just for those who want a little more space to spread out.
