Short Spring break
We enjoyed our short break at this hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive .
We had two excellent evening meals and also enjoyed the varied and well presented breakfasts
The bar and lounge were very relaxing and overall we could find nothing to criticise
Interesting and lovely hotel
We stayed here on a Telegraph offer which included dinner on the first night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and extremely well equipped with everything we needed. Wide range of Molton Brown products in bathroom. Lovely views across the gardens from our room.
Lovely hotel
We did enjoy our stay, food great, room great, lovely views.
Short stay at Wood Norton
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The afternoon tea was delicious and the breakfasts were as good as any we have come across. The only downside was the evening meal. When it arrived it was only just warm. Looks as though the serving staff were not quick to bring it to the table. Although we complained nothing was done. A pity as everything else was very good.

A lovely hotel with such good staff and amazingly excellent food!
We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
No hot water to shower
We were disappointed that a Hotel of Wood Norton's standard would put guests in a room without hot water to the shower. Despite reporting the problem to reception this was not resolved during our stay. We were contacted by Paige who has offered a complimentary overnight stay which we have accepted.
Stay at Wood Norton
As soon as we arrived we were confronted by a large tower crane. What is not evident on any information is that a large retirement village is being built on the doorstep of this hotel. The food was good but the public areas were cold and this did not give a good ambience. However the hotel has been re-furbished to a high standard. I would not recommend this hotel..
A hotel that makes you want to return
We found this hotel from a newspaper offer. It is easy to locate and well positioned for touring the more rural parts of the West Midlands. Staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The internal ambiance of the building was both impressive and comfortable. Our room was close to the lift and the view, delightful. The only downside, for us, in our 80s, was the climb up steep steps to the car park. This was mitigated by the ability to unload & load luggage close to the entrance.
