Relaxing atmosphere, lovely grounds with equally lovely views and peaceful.Dinner VERY disappointing

Shame about the evening restaurant meal. Left a lot to improve.

I would have stayed forever.

We had an absolutely lovely room with views over the wonderful garden and to the hills beyond. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and the staff friendly, we could not have wished for more.

Could have been so much better

Location, friendliness of the staff and quality of the rooms and hotel were all very good. Sadly this privately owned hotel needs to urgently address the short comings in the restaurant. The food was served cold and was returned and the menu shows a lack of imagination. There is a lack of supervision of the staff attending tables particularly at breakfast, dirty crockery was left on tables leaving guests waiting for a table to be cleared. Cereal dishes etc should be cleared before hot dishes are served and not left on tables. This problem is easily solved with supervision and training.

We would stay here again if the restaurant improves but would not recommend to friends at this point in time.

Recent stay at the Wood Norton

First impression was good as the on duty receptionist allowed us to park close to the hotel as my wife uses a stick and would have found the steps to the carpark difficult. Later we asked whether it would be possible to find a room with a walk-in shower because my wife could not manage to step over the side of a fairly high bath. We were told that it would not be possible on our first night but we were offered and accepted, gratefully, a"wet room" for the next three nights. Unfortunately we found that the basin in that room did not hold water and although we reported that three times it had not been fixed by the time that we left

All the other staff were very poliite and efficient.

The proper answer to the next question iis "possibly" but there is no space for that and the review won't "send" if I leave it blank.

Incidentally, we stayed for four nights not two.

We thought the Wood Norton Hotel was a fine place to stay. The staff were very helpful and willing to assist with whatever we requested. We loved the views across the Vale and would book a further stay should we decide to travel in the area again.

MIDWEEK BREAK

A warm welcome at the Wood Norton set in pleasant surroundings on the outskirts of Evesham. The restaurant was very good and the staff friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit again

Expensive hotel with lovely garden

Very enjoyable stay. Very nice staff but we had a shock when it was discovered that the formula for working out the bill was very expensive.

Wood Norton minibreak

The hotel was warm and comfortable, an ideal spot to return to on cold, wet days. The food was lovely and we were well looked after. There was a wedding going on when we arrived so we had to park in a very steep area, not ideal after a long, drizzly journey. There are lovely views and gardens to see when it is fine.
