Two days stay in November 25

BS, Shropshire, stayed: November 2025

For Vegan/vegetarian, a good range of choices at breakfast, but less so for evening meal. However the food quality was excellent. Second floor double room in Grade 2 listed main house, was excellent, with more room space than I had expected. No noise and all the facilities I would see expect in a modern hotel, but with traditional features, which were entirely in keeping with property, which was clearly well maintained.

A Present

Anon, stayed: September 2025

We were gifted a voucher valued at 120.00 for a stay in a luxury hotel. The only way we could afford to stay anywhere was by using Off Peak Luxury. We had to pay an extra 39.00 for the privilege of this one night. We both consider that 159.00 is extortionate for bed and breakfast.
We were unable to eat at the Wood Norton in the could not afford the prices

Good hotel but a bit old fashioned

JE, Hampshire, stayed: September 2025

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room itself had a fabulous view but the facilities were a little old-fashioned - physical door key, bath with shower over, coffee/tea facilities in sachets. Entry to the bath would have caused problems for older people as it wasn't walk in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were really good, as were the two evening meals we had and were of gourmet standard. View from window was fantastic, even if the windows didn.t all open. Access to car park was a bit of a task as it was up a steep hill and the steps to it were uneven. Despite all this was a pleasant hotel!

This was a lovely friendly hotel with beautiful views from the terrace. The staff were excellent and the the food was delicious. We were given a room at the top which was a bit small and the windows rattled all night so we didn t sleep so well. The Bed was large and very comfortable and the room was clean so no complaints there.
It was a bit overpriced for what it was but we had a good stay.
