Quality time

SW, Hertfordshire, stayed: May 2026

The Wood Norton was wonderful - very welcoming; clean and fantastic atmosphere and location - we will definitely come again.
Overall - 5*
One area of improvement: breakfast menu was excellent and no issue; dinner menu could be improved with more variety and the food was good but not as delicious as it could have been/ I have had elsewhere

Lovely birthday break

CP, Bedfordshire, stayed: May 2026

We had a lovely few days staying at The Wood Norton near Evesham for my husband s birthday.
Our room was spacious & the bed so comfortable! The staff there are a credit to the hotel - very welcoming & helpful. The food was amazing too - had fabulous meals both nights! Would definitely stay there again.

Very disappointing, looks and reads much better than it is in reality

Beautiful old building and grounds but right next door to a care home which charge 20 per person for use of facilities and pool. The executive room no 209 was very mediocre but clean, bed comfortable, lovely linens and towels. Restaurant for dinner for 4 - 1 had prawn cocktail strange take on it not particularly enjoyable, 3 had chicken liver parfait very good. Mains 1- belly pork very nice. 1 - cod very nice. 2 - pressed lamb both disappointed as cold so sent back, a good 5 mins later another 2 meals still cold, pickled red cabbage not pickled & tasteless, very hard virtually raw chunk turnip inedible
Different looking lamb from first meal best part was the mash otherwise a non event - avoid like the plague. No one in charge complaint virtually ignored will not be back.

Arrived early, had lunch and drinks in the bar, before checking in.
Room was good although furniture looked tired clean and a good size.
Evening menu was not extensive, but there was choices and food was excellent.
Great service, and nice setting same for breakfast which was also very good. Feel the price was a little high considering we had to pay a lot of extras for the evening meals as the 30 didn't even cover a main course.
