A BREAK FIT FOR ROYALTY

I am thankful for the French Duke who built this lovely mansion on the hillside near Evesham. If he hadn't, we would have not been able to experience the delightful surroundings, whether inside with the lovely wood panelling, or in the beautiful gardens with the view. Very good food, lovingly served in the al fresco dining area. We'll be back!

Restaurant.

The first night we waited from 7.50 to 8.50 without any food. The second night when there was no sign of either our chosen wine or starter we brought it to the attention of the waiter. He did not know what wine we had ordered. We found it hard to understand why bread was not automatically brought to each table. This is unique in our experience. On a positive note, the food was excellent when it did finally arrive.

This is the second time we have taken a short break at the Wood Norton and have already recommended to friends a d family.

A Short Break with Friends

A lovely manor house in beautiful surroundings with easy access to the Cotswolds.
Whilst the accommodation was very good and the staff were very helpful, our visit was marred by the very slow and slightly haphazard service in the restaurant at dinner.
