Cosy relaxing break

We have stayed at this hotel a few times (booked through OPL) and have had a lovely relaxing break each time. The rooms are large and comfortable. Excellent food and friendly service. The hotel is in a lovely setting. Overall it is excellent value for money.

Luxurious and Tranquil

We arrived Sunday and left Monday so a bit of a quick visit but we really enjoyed it! Sunday went for a stroll in the grounds, relaxed in our room, worked out in the gym and then had a really enjoyable evening meal. The hotel was very quiet but that may have been due to the fact that the hotel had something wrong with their website which meant that it wasn't accepting bookings. Perhaps normally there'd be more people? If so that would be a shame because it was the lack of people, and consequent calm, that made the Wood Norton so great.

A relaxing break

My wife and I were upgraded for the first 3 nights and enjoyed the wonderful experience of real comfort. The staff were very accommodating and a gluten free diet was dealt with without any fuss, with meals adapted accordingly. The hotel has a great deal of character and runs efficiently, leaving us to enjoy our stay. A special mention must be made for Alice, who served us each night in the restaurant and made our stay special. Will definitely visit again.

Superb Stay

Absolutely fabulous hotel in superb location, with a fantastic restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. The room in the main hall was lovely. I have nothing to fault and had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay. 10 out of 10.

Brilliant hotel,food excellent,recommend to family & friends,would go back again

Brilliant hotel took our friends to celebrate his birthday, food was excellent couldn't asked for more would go back again, would recommend to our family & friends, only question I would ask is why breakfast was served on Saturday & not a Sunday .
