Snug at The Snooty Fox.

Carol, Staffordshire, stayed: January 2017

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay, and such excellent value.  We will definately stay again, and recommend to friends and family.  I am going to be a bit picky here and say the only thing I would want to change next time would be the view.  It was very nice, with everything to hand, and a great bathroom, but it looked out at a wall, so next time a room with a view overlooking the street would be perfect.  Thanks to all the staff, they were great.( And kept the fire in the bar roaring!)

Been many times before. Speaks for itself!

Robert B, beds, stayed: December 2016

Had a 2 night dinner BB break deal for my wife and I in room 10. Keep going back as very friendly and welcoming staff, good food, great beer and cosy bar. Rooms being refurbished, ours room 10 had been done, very comfortable. Despite a number of Christmas parties it did not affect the quality or service for our meals, excellent. Location is great, old Tetbury has some very historic buildings and lovely shops again with happy friendly staff. Numerous eateries and lots of antique shops.  For a relaxing weekend break it was perfect, also this end of the Cotswolds is our favourite as you can travel to the other well known locations but retreat to a more relaxing less crowded hotel. Highly recommend the Snooty

Champagne Birthday Break

HG, Lancashire, stayed: November 2016

Situated in a charming market town with accessibility to many excellent Cotswold and West Country locations, including Cirencester, Bath and Bristol.

The hotel is an old coaching inn in the market square opposite the original wool exchange. It has very good recently refurbished clients' areas and rooms and is backed up by a very good restaurant. The staff are all very welcoming and give first class service always aiming to be helpful.

A good value for money hotel/restaurant with charming rooms.

Friendly Inn in great location

JL, Greater Manchester, stayed: September 2016

Warm welcome excellent customer care skills demonstrated by all staff members. Very nice room no real view but nevertheless comfortable and quiet.
Food was very good breakfast particularly so with excellent choice and very well prepared.
The Inn is in the market square and therefore very convenient for after dinner strolls and general sightseeing.
We would certainly stay again.

Snooty Fox Tetbury

GS, West Sussex, stayed: July 2016

On checking in counter staff didn't ask for my written confirmation, we had to wait to be attended to as the person was on the computer with his back to us when I started to speak he just went to his forms and asked to confirm our names and home address, we were given our key. We had parked in the public car park and were told there was only free parking down a steep hill which wasn't convenient so we paid each day to park in the pay area, this wasnt expensive . The room was nothing special, decor dated but clean and tidy. There was evidence that they had problems with damp as wallpaper had been bleached out along skirting and around window. There was tea and biscuits in the room which was good however the promised champagne was not in our room on arrival and we had to go to reception, they brought us up a bottle but hadn't been chilled as their ice machine had apparently broken. Disappointed that there was only one chair in the room so one of us had to sit on the bed to drink tea or watch TV. The bathroom was good, shower worked fine, large basin and towels, robes and washing products provided. Our room was over the kitchen and as the window was open as it was warm the cigarette smoke from staff members was smelt in our room and as non smokers not good. A bit noisy with traffic and washing up could be heard when they had finished. The breakfast provided was excellent good choice full English, cereal, toast, jams, yoghurt, so all good. Dinner was good however one meal was too salty which we couldn't eat however we were not charged, dessert was good. Shame the menu was the same choice every day. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive, excellent customer service from them. We didn't use the bar on our stay. Bed was comfortable and room tidy on our return each day. Tourist leaflets were on hand. The key fob to the room was not coded so if we had lost our room key with information of the hotel and room number would have allowed the finder to enter our room. Not particularly secure procedure for logging keys.
We would stay there again . It was nothing special but a good hotel overall
