Perfect location
The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Our evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding.
The location was perfect.
We had a very relaxing few days.
Thank you.
Interesting stay!
We found the fact that the hotel is in many parts was a little confusing at first but we soon found our way around. The staff were very helpful and the room was pleasant. Unfortunately it was on the road side of the building and when we opened the window to sleep it was far too noisy! I am sure a room elsewhere away from the road would be fine.
For a short stay it was very good.
SOME STAFF NEED SHAKING UP.
NICE CLEAN ROOMS. EVEN THOUGH NEW CARPETS WERE BEING LAID AND SOME PAINTING BEING DONE IT DIDN'T AFFECT US. BAR STAFF AND RESTAURANT STAFF DIN'T SEEM PARTICULARLY HAPPY IN THEIR WORK. LACK OF STAFF ON LAST BREAKFAST OF OUR STAY.
ONE BISCUIT WITH THE TEA AND COFFEE IN THE ROOM SEEMED A BIT TIGHT. MOST MEALS VERY GOOD EXCEPT FOR ON THE LAST NIGHT. THE GARLIC MUSHROOMS WHICH WE'D ENJOYED PREVIOUSLY WERE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. WE WERE TOLD BECAUSE AGENCY STAFF WERE ON THAT NIGHT. WHEN WE REMARKED ON THIS TO 3 STAFF BEHIND THE BAR, THEY REALLY COULDN'T CARE LESS.
Pleasant hotel in good location
The hotel was pleasant, with a clean and good-sized ensuite bedroom and a comfortable bar, in contemporary decor. Staff were helpful, catering carefully for a special diet. Restaurant food was fair: rather limited in choice and somewhat unadventurous. A good choice of cooked and continental breakfast items. The hotel was well-placed for visiting local National Trust properties (including Charlecote Park, next door), Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford. It was just right for a two-night stay.
Very nice 2 day break
Hotel, staff and food all good.
Birthday Surprise
Booked this as a birthday surprise for my wife. We found the hotel to be comfortable and welcoming.
Staff were great and always helpful. Hotel is well situated between Warwick & Stratford and reasonably close to a number of National Trusts. We would not hesitate to use this site again.
Comfortable
Great location, good walking, opposite nt house handy for Stratford.
Room a little tired ( door lock wobbly towel rail hanging off small leak in bathroom)
Breakfast a bit sparce if you aren t early, but there was a coach party staying.
Overall enjoyable stay worth another visit great value for money
Cheap Digs in the Cotswolds
We paid for an upgraded executive room which was spacious enough and clean but with no air conditioning it was far too warm at night in mid-summer. Location was great for a little break in the Cotswolds and with close proximity to Stratford and Warwick there was plenty on the doorstep. As a hotel it was basic but adequate. Our only real negative was the breakfast. Too few staff, limited breakfast choice and limited availability. Items ran out quickly and weren t replenished.
Overall though you get what you pay for and this was relatively cheap so not bad for the money.
