Great hotel in a great location

WG, Bridgend, stayed: November 2024

I booked to stay here as it is opposite the RSC theatre, you could not get any closer.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
The room good, nice size and gorgeous bed and bedding.
Dinner in the restaurant was delicious
The breakfast excellent.
I intend to go back.

Perfect for a visit to Stratford upon Avon.

PA, Flintshire, stayed: October 2024

We d stayed here about 15 years ago and were looking forward to staying again. It has changed a lot. Much more modern. But has lost none of its charm. Lots of car parking spaces on site. The welcome was excellent. The staff were excellent throughout. The room was beautiful. So relaxing. A huge bathroom. I have to comment on a magnifying mirror in the bedroom and the bathroom! The breakfast was beautifully cooked. And just a few paces from the theatre and the shops. Please go and try this hotel. You won t be disappointed.

Weekend Escape

Anon, stayed: October 2024

Ideally positioned for a visit to Stratford and Warwick. Helpful staff and relaxing. Room a good size and large bathroom. Only criticism is the restaurant and it's layout. Some seats too low for eatng and a busy breakfast with guests trying to reach continental offerings, having to squeeze past people sat at tables. Having said that, would stay again., but may look for an evening meal in town as restaurant cost for a couple can be expensive. But that is possibly the price you pay for the location.

Relaxed stay

Anon, stayed: September 2024

It was our second visit and to be honest a bit disappointing. Staff were not very welcoming and on two occasions questioned my booking. The food was OK but not as good as I would expect the price, two puddings on the menu weren't available. The room was tired and in need of upgrading, rust in the bath and side panel damaged.

Great location

Anon, stayed: September 2024

Situated in the middle of Stratford and opposite the Shakespeare Theatre the location is perfect. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly.
Good sized room we'll equipped if everything had worked - in need of a bit of TLC.
Restaurant overall we rated OK with the main course excellent.

shakespearian break

Ann, Devon, stayed: September 2024

The Arden hotel is ideally placed for visiting the theatres and places of interest. The staff were all friendly and very helpful over the problems we had. Our room was comfortable but the thermostat control of the bathroom water taps did not function properly. Breakfast and afterrnoon tea were excellent but I had to send back my evening dinner main course of fish pie on the only evening we dined. Overall, we enjoyed our break but I would not recommend this hotel for anybody with mobility issues because of the many steps to reach the various levels.
