Lovely romantic overnight syay

LH, West Midlands, stayed: October 2019

Lovely plate of mixed fruits in gift wrapping and a small box of handmade chocolates in addition to the bottle of sparkling wine in room. Breakfast was hot and tasty with plenty of choice. Evening meal was delicious. Hotel tastefully furnished. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Overall a pleasant stay.

MJ, Warwickshire, stayed: October 2019

A few ratings could have easily been excellent but for silly little things. Food was excellent apart from being given the wrong steaks and having to ask for the bottle of wine we ordered after they arrived. Breakfast was very good, excellent choice and quality. Service was excellent. The room was easily 5 star except one unpleasant airborne problem. I reported this problem twice to be informed maintenance had be told on both occasions, if they were nothing happened, which is a real shame. You know if when you report a problem that the person you are talking to has heard it before and this was the case here, it needs to be sorted out. This all sounds more negative than our stay actually was but the overall package is good.

Wonderful hotel! Lovely staff!

JH, Hampshire, stayed: October 2019

Beautifully situated hotel, with views of the Malvern Hills all round, yet only moments from the town of Tewksbury.
Very nicely decorated, with extremely comfortable room (the bed was so large I couldn't reach my wife!).
Breakfast was buffet style, with a superb range of hot and cold food. Dinner was excellent.
We found all the staff to be knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and genuinely happy to be working there - how often can you say that!
You get my drift - a great hotel we shall definitely be going back to!

Generally very pleased with the hotel just a couple of niggles. The spa had only one operative so our 2 wives had to take turns for treatments, other people unable to get booked in. Maintenance a bit slow to sort problems.

Warm and Wonderful

KS, Bedfordshire, stayed: October 2019

The Manor s facelift a couple of years ago really shows. The 60s/70s looking bedroom annexe may look a bit unprepossessing from the outside but once inside it is fresh, stylish and very comfortable.
Reviews of the restaurant are rightly complimentary and the location is within walking easy distance of Tewkesbury whilst being quiet and very attractive.
But the jewel in the crown is the staff.
We had no idea when we arrived that this is a family-owned hotel, not part of a chain, and the warm, friendly vibe from the staff reflected a happy workforce, personally invested in making their guests stay as happy as possible. Bouquets all round.
We re looking forward to our next stay - and we rarely go anywhere twice.

Lovely quiet well located hotel with fabulous views. Friendly and welcoming and a good restaurant. Very nice restful weekend. A shame the rooms were so warm at night even with the fans provided.
