An enjoyable break

We had a mostly enjoyable stay here. The hotel is very easy to find and is most surprising after having driven through Tewkesbury; suddenly, not five minutes from town you are in open countryside. The view from our bedroom was lovely - nothing between us and hills in the far distance. Reception was friendly and organised; our room was very clean and comfortable; the food was good and the swimming pool was great, and there are lots of spaces with comfortable chairs to relax - not an awkward lounge area . We didn't use the golf course or other spa amenities. Our only gripe was with the restaurant. Breakfast wasn't well organised - on both mornings there was not enough fruit juice, or other continental breakfast items and although the staff were very courteous, we weren't offered tea or coffee very promptly. Again, in the evening the waiting staff were not well organised - it took longer than expected for them to offer drinks, or take our order, although when the food came, it was very good.

Ideal 'short break' hotel.

Conveniently situated within walking distance to Tewkesbury, on the edge of the Cotswolds, this hotel has very high standards with lovely rooms, excellent food, friendly staff and a very relaxing place to be. For golfers, an extra bonus is the 18 hole golf course on site. Also has a leisure centre and spa and plenty of walks nearby. Convenient for exploring the Cotswolds and not far from Worcester.

Overall my stay was very pleasant. I enjoyed my stay at Tewksbury Park Hotel. My room was very satisfactory, except the small issues of flies and wasps even though we didn t have the windows open.
Brunch on Sunday morning was a let down. We were one of the first in the restaurant, so wasn t busy at all. I had to wait over 20 minutes for my pancakes and coffee and had to follow up 3 times and when they came they were just average. Waffles weren t available or the chocolate fountain.
Staff on the whole were very friendly and helpful.

A very pleasant long weekend break

Delightful hotel and well equipped spa, with very helpful and willing staff. The grounds and golf course are kept beautifully, and nearby walks/sights well worth experiencing.
The food was presented and cooked well; if a little restricted in choice and it was a pity that some breakfast items were not available. However, the current problems with availability and delivery may have contributed to this.
Overall, it was a most enjoyable and relaxing "get away" weekend.
