A lovely weekend away

The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the food is outstanding, We had a Historic Suite which was fabulous!!!

The grounds are lovely to walk around and you can follow the public footpath to the river severn and the battlefield trail as well. We did use the pool which was just right for a leisurely swim.

Fabulous stay again. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Good food. Great choice of wine. Our second stay within 5 months.

Beautiful stay to celebrate

Only positive comments about this hotel from location, very quiet and peaceful; room was exemplary great size comfortable bed excellent bathroom facilities; restaurant food was sublime from starter through main to dessert mouthwatering well presented and cooked to perfection.

Didn t use the spa facilities or golf course so can t comment on those.

Would highly recommend this venue, staff are attentive and helpful.

Was there a downside, only that due to increasing mobility problems stairs were a bit of a hindrance and the fire alarm going off around 9am, but it was a false alarm & these things happen!

Elegant Luxury

We stayed in the King Edward suite which was luxurious and very elegant with gorgeous fabrics and furnishings and a wonderful bathroom with lots of wonderful toiletries. The staff are so friendly and helpful a really nice group of people. The grounds are nice but the path around the golf course needs better signposting, not sure we followed the right path and had to ask some golfers for directions. The food was lovely and the restaurant nice but might have been better if furnished to match the period of the rest of the hotel, it appeared more modern and just didn't seem quite right. Really liked the leisure complex which was clean, tidy and well equipped. Altogether a really nice hotel which led to a very relaxing and pleasurable stay.

Excellent stay all the people who work there were amazing

From the moment we arrived we were made welome nothing was to much trouble the reception staff were outstanding especially Jordan who always had a smile was very helpful also the service in the restaurant was 1st class
