Too early closure
The staff at breakfast were almost rude and dismissive . All other staff especially the young bar staff were very good. On the Saturday night , returning from a meal out before 10pm the place was deserted and in the dark no staff or management ! I think this is unacceptable as well as potentially illegal . We were left to turn off a fire and lights and had to walk around the hotel to get to our rooms so that the front door access would be locked . If we had not then the hotel would have been accessible to anybody ! This was all on the night when everybody got an extra hours sleep due the clocks going back .goodness knows what would have happened if guests had an emergency or there had been a fire !
Just like being at home!
Friendly welcome from reception and they were even able to move our room to a ground floor room as our elderly dog couldn t manage the stairs. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, excellent food and felt very at home there. Will definitely return

2 night break
My husband and I stayed at the Noel Arms for a 2 night stay in March, the hotel was very quite that time of year but very welcoming and relaxing, we had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and must say that the food was excellent, the breakfast both mornings was great and filled us up for the day, we stayed in a standard room which was in an annexe round the corner and was perfectly clean and adequate for our liking, lovely county style hotel and will be back
Great brake
Three nights and four days of relaxation - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
