Romantic Hideaway

We enjoyed our mini break at The Manor House Hotel for so many reasons.Amazing location all set within a walled garden hidden from the High Street.Loved the conservatory dining room overlooking the garden.All very private.Very warm welcome on arrival and friendly staff.Attention to detail par excellence and nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast was excellent and service always with a smile.Our double room was spacious and very comfortable - again with views overlooking the garden.All very romantic.

Manor House Hotel

So glad I chose this hotel for a birthday present.
When you walk in the decor is lovely, very chic.
Our room was on the 2nd floor, very nice if a little bit small but the bed was very comfy.
We booked in for dinner and found all the staff very helpful and accommodating. The food was lovely.
Breakfast next morning, was lovely when it did arrive. My only complaint was the time it took from ordering to receiving our food.
Would recommended this hotel.

Every thing was expected except breakfast service which was poor due to staff shortage, also could do with more choice of non cooked items.

Weekender

Rooms etc were ok a bit on the small side but adequate, clean and tidy, lovely fluffy towels which were changed daily. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed even though we had booked a table the day before and were not told, menu was the same every night, and they ran out of things every night, not impressed!!! Breakfast was good staff helpful and friendly. Lovely garden with comfy chairs etc great for drinks in the afternoon/evening. Food definitely let it down.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Restaurant food very good. Barman does excellent cocktails. Hotel has lovely gardens and good relaxing atmosphere.

Hotel rooms are dissapointing for the price. Bedroom small and bathroom very very small. On line view of rooms misleading - you expect to get a large comfortable room but this is not what you get on arrival.

Good break

We stayed one night and found everything we required for a raing and enjoyable break. The room was lovely and clean. The only small issus was when i showered the ceiling height was too low, if you are over 5 feet 3 you may find it a problem. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We wished we could have stayed for 2 nights but the hotel was booked up for a wedding.

DISSAPOINTED

have found it necessary 2 make a formal complaint. Would like s monetary refund
