A perfect luxury break
We had a fabulous night away at Mallory Court.
The staff couldn't have been more friendly or more welcoming, and you really got the feeling that they were genuinely pleased to see you. The room was immaculate and very spacious, and the whole hotel has great charm and character. The food was delicious - probably one of the best meals we've had.
For a luxury break where you want to unwind, relax and feel pampered, Mallory Court is perfect. Highly recommended.
Beautiful building, amazing staff, lumpy bed
The title says it all really. Its a really beautiful place, nice views, good sized rooms. The staff were the most friendly and attentive I have ever experienced, could not fault them at all. The only thing that let down our visit was the mattress which had two large dips in it, one on either side. It felt like you were trying to sleep on the edge of a precipice. It was disappointing for such a nice hotel. I would stay again though it this issue was resolved.
Congratulations Mallory Court
In todays climate where in our experience good hotel staff are in short demand, congrats to Mallory Court for putting together a dedicated and efficient team. From the welcoming concierge, to the reception staff, waiting staff, especially the young people serving in the dining room, all were excellent.
Special recognition should go to the fine dining team. The food was very good and served as stated before, extremely professionally, by a series of young people well turned out in tidy uniforms.
My one criticism would be that the courses came out a little hurriedly not giving time for the palate to adjust. Our room/suite was functional bathroom a little dated but clean and good to see a walk in shower with grab safety rails. Housekeeping excellent, well done Mallory Court.
A wonderful location to celebrate 52nd Wedding Anniversary
We stayed two nights in the Snowshill room which is excellently sited with views over the garden as well as having a very comfortable ambiance.
The welcome by the staff was warm and friendly and this manner continued throughout the stay.
We ate in the restaurant both evenings having the taster menu. All the courses were interesting - well presented, distinguished and tasty food. Breakfast was also fisrt class - the full English and the various egg-based dishes being of note.

A fabulous 2-night Gourmet experience
We booked a last minute deal to Mallory Court through Country Hotel Breaks, a 2 night Gourmet Experience. And it was superb.
The hotel was immaculate, our room was spacious and air conditioned - with lovely little touches on arrival (glass of fizz, handwritten card and some biscuits in the room).
The staff couldnot have been more helpful, knowledgable or attentive. Nothing was a problem, and the service was top quality.
Our Chef's taster menus each night were delivcious, packed with locally grown produce or picked straight from the hotel's garden, and the wine list was interesting.
The only slight downside was that the spa was not included in the price, so even to go for a swim was pretty expensive @ 15 per hour - seemed odd that it wasnt included.
But all in all a lovely, relaxing, luxurious mini break. We cant wait to go back.
Relaxing break in the Country
I was bought a voucher as a 60th birthday present and chose Mallory Court as it s not too far from home. It was a lovely break in a beautiful hotel and grounds with very attentive staff and nice little touches that made for an excellent weekday getaway. The spa was small but very clean with everything that you would expect and it was an added bonus that it was quiet and I could totally relax. The finishing touch was a lovely facial by Sabrina. A great birthday treat.
