A romantic weekend in a luxurious room, hotel and gardens.

Christine, stayed: February 2016

Staff extremely helpful. Food selection good and well presented. Our room was the best room we have ever stayed in in the UK. Fantastic location - shame the weather was poor.  Hope to visit the hotel again.

Lovely stay

Jade, stayed: February 2016

This was bought for me and my boyfriend as a Christmas present, and we had a lovely time! Would definitely recommend this hotel, and would definitely come back and stay again. It was relaxing, and in a lovely location. Our only down side was the weather, so will come and visit in the summer next time. However, meant we could relax in the hotel which we loved.

Good hotel in an amazing town

LW, stayed: March 2016

We really enjoyed the hotel but were a little disappointed that the restaurant menu was not changed while we were there. We would stay there again but maximum of two nights on the same menu.

We were so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us.

Regarding menus, we have our A la Carte menu, our Grill menu and our Table D'Hote menu.  We change the occasional dish throughout the week and all of the menus seasonally.

Kind regards

Access difficult for guests with mobility problems. Steps to front entrance and no lift to rooms.

Cotswold House Hotel & Spa says...

Thank you for your review. We would advise any guests with mobility issues to call ahead for the best options of bedroom location to suit your needs. As a converted townhouse in a listed building we are unable to change the layout or frontage to the building. We do have a few ground floor rooms, and step free access to reception can be found via the rear of the hotel.

With Kindest Regards

A two night stay

WB, Hampshire, stayed: April 2016

The location of the hotel is in the centre of Chipping Campden so very easy to walk round town. Parking at the front of the hotel is pay and display in very tight parking slots, beware if in a big vehicle. After unloading went to hotel car park at rear which is fine and near Spa, though quite a trek through to the hotel if you take your luggage that way.
Room was a very good size with a nice ensuite. Floor in the bedroom was very uneven, as expected, in such an old building, all part of the character! A comfortable bed.
Had some drinks in the bar and restaurant and I thought they were somewhat overpriced. I am glad I did not go for anything in the room minibar.
Food in the restaurant was good but the same menu both nights, if you were having the inclusive meal package. I could not believe the price of a bottle of still water that we had with the meal. It will be tap water next time!

I recently stayed here with my partner and we stayed only for one night but would have to say that the stay was amazing.
