Great hotel, fabulous location

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Chipping Camden - beautiful old building with lots of character. Great dinner, bed and breakfast deal with a welcome bottle of champagne on arrival and a voucher towards wine. We didn't use the spa so can't comment on that. The only criticism was that the hotel was extremely hot .....we were glad of the sash window in our room to get some fresh air. Also there is no real bar area for a pre or post dinner drink. However there are plenty of pubs in the village. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A good experience

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, however the staircase which lead to the first room on the first floor had a very sewage like smell which was very unpleasant. The SPA was small, but I enjoyed myself as this was a nice addition to my stay. I would not have come here just for the SPA's facilities as in my opinion it was too small. The food was very good and the service was great at breakfast and dinner. The town is small with not a great deal of attractions, but if you have a car or willing to go on walks, then it is fine.

Loved this hotel!

Gorgeous hotel with very pleasant staff throughout. Rooms immaculate & very comfortable.
Enjoyed some nice chill time in the lovely spa area & a very relaxing treatment.
Breakfast is cooked to order so fresh & tasty as were both evening meals (one of which was in the sister hotel).
Would have liked to enjoy some outdoor time in the beautiful gardens but sadly the weather was cold & rainy. Maybe next time!

Lovely hotel and spa, would have liked more menu options. Bar area a bit small. But would recommend this lovely hotel
