A good visit
After initial problems with windows not opening, we changed rooms only for the lights to fuse. However, this was quickly corrected and the rest of the stay was excellent. The location was superb and close to the charming Chipping Camden. The dinner was excellent and not just the usual boring fare that hotels provide.
Cotswold stay
Beautiful hotel, recently refurbished, attentive staff and decent food. A bit out of the way but that is what appeals to most.
Very happy stay.
The bedroom was large and ideal for us, staff so friendly, marvellous views, a great three night stay
Thank your staff.

Perfect getaway treat
This is a well-run and beautiful Cotswold hotel in a marvellous elevated position 3 miles from Chipping Campden. We stayed 2 nights in September and though the weather was very damp and drizzly, we enjoyed our time here. Most rooms are in a courtyard addition (1980s?) at the back of the original old house, but are well-appointed and comfortable. Some updating necessary, but this is in progress. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with good service. Two comfortable lounges and - a particular treat - an excellent range of recently-published books, fiction and non-fiction, which we've never seen in any other hotel. Perhaps they are starting to build a library. This was much appreciated and I managed to get through a whole novel in our 2 days, which added to my enjoyment of the place. This is not a cheap hotel, but we thought the Off-Peak Luxury deal (B&B + dinner on first night) was excellent value compared with the rack-rate. The sparkling wine included on the first evening was pretty rough though, which seemed a shame. Overall, a very nice experience.
Brilliant Stay
I booked this overnight stay for my partner's 50th birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food tasted superb! The room was lovely and very clean. The cleanliness of the whole building was exceptional in fact. Our favorite part was the setting of Charingworth Manor, on top of a hill with views of the outstanding beauty that is the Cotswolds. It has a very romantic feel about the place and very quiet and tranquil. The only thing I would say is that I think the prices are quite overpriced. I don't feel that some things, especially the drinks, were worthy of the prices being charged. Also the amount of food served at dinner for the price was a little disappointing.
Great break!
Our stay at Charingworth was extremely enjoyable.we were made very welcome from the beginning and throughout our stay. The restaurant was excellent but might have had a more extensive menu particularly if you were staying more than two nights. Overall a wonderfully relaxing experience.
