Birthday trip

Brian V, Somerset, stayed: February 2025

We enjoyed our brief stay at the hotel. Thestaff were excellent, the meals beautifully presented and the room well equipped although as it was an annexe there should have been a phone in the room to connect to reception. It provided a very convenient base from which to explore the charms of Chipping Campden. I believe there are plans to rename the hotel to "Hylle" which would be a mistake as it would not make me bother to check it on Google and gives no indication of its Cotswold ambience..

2 day trip

SG, stayed: February 2025

Well located hotel close to the start of the Cotswold way
Evening meal on day 1 was part of the package and was good value as local pubs were expensive.
Breakfast was good
Can see this hotel as a lovely wedding venue in the spring and summer
Would be good if the hotel had more info on walks

Beautiful location and great food.

Anon, stayed: January 2025

We enjoyed our stay at Charingworth Manor. The position is glorious and we really enjoyed the food, the breakfasts were really good.

However, the bathroom could do with improving as there was only a shower over a bath and the overhead drench shower was barely more than a trickle, which meant having to hold the hand held attachment.

Unfortunately due to unavailability of a plumber, the two lounges were rather cool. The restaurant and bedrooms were warm however.

Having said that, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the building and gardens and locations are beautiful. No doubt the heating was rectified as soon as possible. We would return but would ask for a room with a updated bathroom.

Soothing atmosphere and personal service

Lynden, Worcestershire, stayed: January 2025

Charingworth Manor exceeded our expectation. Dinner and cocktails were both amazing and the service excellent. Ian made us feel very welcome and helped with our anxious dog. I am a Coeliac and also lactose intolerant and Bartosz was excellent accommodating this and so friendly and yet very professional. Swimming pool was great. The atmosphere in Manor is soothing and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Would come again without a doubt.
