A lovely overnight stay
Booked this hotel as the second half of an Off-peak spa booking g. First resort in Wreham was awful so cancelled and used the balance of my break at Charingworth Manor.
What a beautiful location, nice pool, awesome delicious food from the restaurant. This was a very relaxing and pleasurable stay.
Great place if you want isolation, peace and quiet, good food and beautiful surroundings.
I would definately recommend this hotel and I would stay again.
Great area
Lovely area. Hotel needs some money spending on it to ensure it meets its expectations being located in the amazing area that it is . Bedroom was small and dated but had character. We were told renovations beginning in January much needed! Pool area amazing and great addition. Food was ok some staff excellent one or two others not too customer focused. We will monitor renovations to see if we will go back.
Quiet Abode in The Cotswolds
Lovely venue and super service . An ideal stopover for all passing through.
Enjoyed our stay
Good overall stay but they need to update the wine list prices as when we settled our bill we were charged 40 for our wine instead of the 30 that was stated on the wine list, we did mention this at reception when we settled our bill and were told the wine hasn't been that price for a long time, and offered to deduct the staff gratuities which we declined as it was unfair on the rest of the staff.
Charingworth Manor
A good stay overall.
Parking near the hotel is limited, no disabled parking although this was arranged by staff.
The room decor was a little tired, with some problems with bathroom fittings that were quickly resolved.
The TV channels were very limited.
The hotel food was very good overall, with friendly and efficient service.
The reception was not always staffed, and we had to look for service on 3 occasions.
The main hotel building is lovely, with a small gym and a pool.
All in all we felt the hotel was a little over priced.
Delightful one night stay
Hotel is well maintained in all areas.Decorations and furnishings are very attractive. The swimming pool is attractive and easy to use.Evening meal was the best we have had for a long time. All round it is the best hotel we have stayed at in the uk. Will be our hotel of choice when visiting the Cotswolds
Beautiful location
The hotel is in a lovely location. The food for breakfast and evening meal was of a good standard, also the service. The rooms were well appointed but the room on the first night backed onto a road so with the window open to ventilate the room it was noisy. It also had very noisy floorboards above which awoke us with a start later in the evening. The second room was much better with a good view and quieter
A pleasant place to stay for a peaceful visit
The room was quiet and the bed extra large and extremely comfortable. The swimming pool is delightful. The food is interestingly presented and staff are attentive.
