Weekend break
Upon arrival the hotel looked fantastic, reception and checking in was a breeze, very helpful staff explained in detail dinner reservations, how to get to our room.
Room stayed in the barns superior you could not fault this room, spacious, warm, extra heater if needed, hot drink facilities, iron and ironing board, spacious bathroom 2 shower options( normal shower and rainfall shower plus bath all controls simple plenty of moulton brown products towels perfect, dressing robes. Restaurant food was outstanding not a lot to choose from but what was on offer was cooked wonderfully, very well presented staff were professional, courteous and helpful.
The bar was ok ish would have been better if the drinks on the menu were available ie Guinness, aspels and corona were all unavailable while on my stay didn t really affect the stay but as a personal preference to drinks, on saying that plenty of choice regarding other drinks, must add the guy working behind the bar was fantastic rushed of his feet most of the time but still made to feel welcome and orders were brought over to us. Spa area only used swimming pool which was relaxing, warm and spacious could do with a few more loungers but still plenty of seating. Breakfast was good continental or traditional English again staff superb
Overall a great weekend, would like to visit during the summer as the outdoors looked great.
Kick back
Billesley is tucked away in lovely grounds providing a peaceful haven where you can relax and unwind. The staff are charming, well spoken and most helpful with a sense of humour to match.
The open fires are a real joy and the spa facilities make a welcome change.
Let down by Food and Beverage offering
The hotel is beautifully situated in well manicured gardens and imposing driveway. Although lacking a lift to the top floor the room was very spacious and well appointed with excellent en suite facilities. The bar was compact with a log fire and a galleried landing above. Booking is essential for the restaurant as it is quite small but cosy and again open log fires. The bar was disappointing as there was no draught beer, no cucumber to go with Hendricks Gin and closed quite early. The restaurant menu is very limited in choice so we did not eat in on the second night. Our first breakfast was very good but certainly not to the same standard the second morning. This could be a five star experience with a change in the food and beverage offering. We did not use the spa facilities as were told the pool was very cold. Without changes we would probably not stay again.
Lovely hotel with history and & style. Good location for exploring Stratford and a theatre trip.
A lovely hotel in the countryside, very relaxing spa facilities, Full of style and history, lovely gardens, great food and service in the restaurant. Lots of things to visit locally including a great visit to the theatre in Stratford. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, comfy and clean..

Brilliant Hotel, Fabulous service
4 of us went for a 2 night stay. The hotel looks and is luxurious. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are large and very comfortable.
Our wives had a Spa experience, which they thoroughly enjoyed. As well as the treatments the Spa experience also included lunch and a cocktail / Mocktail.
The hotel is in a great location to visit Stratford upon Avon, Evesham and other local places such as Warwick and Leamington Spa, which we did.
We had one of our evening meals in the hotel restaurant, which was excellent and another in a local village pub, again just 10 to 15 minutes away.
We would definitely return to the Billesley Hotel and Spa, a brilliant place to go for a break !
Excellent hotel
Booked as a result of a Gin tasting trip.
Hotel and staff were great, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
