About the Cotswolds
The Cotswolds is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled regions in England, with high, wooded hills and sweeping valleys dotted with charming, timeless villages of honey-coloured stone cottages.
Snowshill is a beautiful, unspoilt Cotswold village with views over the Severn Valley to the west.
Snowshill Manor is a very popular National Trust attraction, with a charming house dating back to the fifteenth century and attractive gardens surrounding it, including a maze. The house has an intriguing collection of Arts & Craft Movement inspired items, including clocks, musical instruments and weaving machines which were brought to the house by its former owner Charles Wade, who restored the manor during the first half of the twentieth century.
Nearby attractions: Broadway Tower & Park (with views over the entire Cotswolds), situated 3 miles to the northeast.
